Stand at the mile marker and catch your whole team crossing seconds apart. XC Team Timer keeps every runner on their own clock — one tap per runner — so everybody gets their splits. [IMPORTANT: PAID SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED] XC Team Timer requires a paid subscription to access its features, timing tools, and coaching utilities. The one exception: helping a coach as a Timekeeper is free. Coach Plans add unlimited athletes and Timekeeper Mode. Parent Plans allow you to add up to 4 athletes. TIME THE RACE • Live race timer — tap each runner as they cross, everyone gets their own splits • Cumulative mile splits for 5K and 2-mile races: 5:57, 12:01, 18:42 tells the whole story • The race clock stays on your Lock Screen with Live Activities • A phone call won't lose your times — the timer survives interruptions • Wrong tap? Undo an athlete's last split or finish in a tap • Weren't holding the watch? Enter results afterward with bulk time entry TIMEKEEPER MODE — *COACHES PLAN REQUIRED TO START* • Invite parents and assistants with a link in Messages • Put a helper at every mile marker; each times from their own phone • Every split and finish lands on your phone automatically • Start the race from the line, or let a helper fire the gun while you're out on the course • You decide what helpers can do: start, pause, stop, restart, or mark DNS/DNF/DQ • Helping is free — no subscription needed SHARE RESULTS • Send a meet, a race, an athlete's season, a whole team, or everything to parents and other coaches • Got a results file from another coach? Pick your athletes and their times and splits come straight in, no retyping • You choose how names appear before you share YOUR PROGRAM, ORGANIZED • Every athlete with photo, contact info, birthday, and full race history • Call, text, or email a parent straight from the athlete's page • Varsity and JV squads with team colors and logos • Bring your whole roster in from a spreadsheet with guided CSV import; export any time • Graduate seniors and roll to a new season without retyping anyone RESULTS THAT COACH FOR YOU • PRs and season bests badge themselves the moment they happen • Season Bests leaderboard — who's fastest in every event, whole program, one screen • Team Depth Chart — your lineup card at a glance • Split-by-split breakdown of where a race was won or lost • Progress charts that trend each runner toward their season goal • Put two athletes side by side, race by race • Share cards for the team group chat — gradient, photo, or venue-map backgrounds MEET DAY • Meet-day dashboard: what's next, who's up, what's done • Build your standard meet once, reuse it all season from a template • Every meet shows its venue on a map with race-day conditions • Unfinished meets get flagged so no one is left without a time BUILT FOR THE FAR END OF THE COURSE • Solo timing works offline with zero bars (Timekeeper Mode needs a connection) • iCloud keeps your whole program on every device, automatically • Your data is yours — export results and splits any time Subscription terms: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. One shared clock. Every phone in sync. Time a race with the devices already in your volunteers' pockets. No account, no login, just the code from your race director. The start only fires once, so the clock should only exist once. Run This Stopwatch keeps the official race clock on the server, and every phone at the course reads the same time to the second. Start the clock when the race starts, tap Record as runners cross, and type the bib now or tie it on later when the rush clears. AT THE FINISH LINE • One big Record button, built for fast taps in gloves • Times are stamped by the click so two devices never disagree • Tap a bib from the roster and the runner's name fills in automatically • Missed a bib in the rush? Record the time anyway. Rows that still need a bib stay flagged until someone ties them on • A running count of finishes, and how many still need bibs ONE CLOCK, MANY DEVICES • A two-person finish line sees each other's taps within seconds • Fix a time, bib, or name from any device, and every device updates • Show newest finishes first, or finish order, per device • Stopping the clock pauses it for everyone, and you can still record late finishers SPLITS, NOT JUST THE FINISH • Your director can set up checkpoints along the course. Pick the one you are standing at • Put a phone at mile 5 and another at the finish, and both feed the same race WHEN THE DUST SETTLES • Every tap appears live in your race director's dashboard • Export the full list as a CSV, or email it in one tap • Your director can publish finish times straight to the event's results on Run This MADE FOR VOLUNTEERS • No account and no login. Just the code from your race director. • Everyone timing the race uses the same code • Dark mode for when it's your vibe Run This Stopwatch works with events that use Run This for registration. You will need a stopwatch code from your race director to get started.
