Nonograms go by a lot of names: picross, picture cross, griddlers, hanjie, Japanese crosswords, pic-a-pix, paint by numbers. The rules are the same everywhere. The numbers along each row and column tell you how many cells to fill in. Work out which ones, and a hidden pixel-art picture appears. A WORLD WITH NO EDGE Most nonogram games hand you a list of levels with a number at the end of it. This one hands you a map. Every puzzle you solve is one tile of a single continuous world, and finishing a tile lifts the fog from the four tiles around it. Solve those, and the frontier moves again. There is no level 500. There is no "more puzzles coming soon". The map is drawn as you walk into it, and it does not stop. Distinct biomes emerge as you explore - forest, desert, mountain, ruins, cosmic and more - each with its own palette. The further out you push, the stranger the world gets.
