Namefinity

You're not bad with names. You just never had a system. Namefinity helps you remember the names and faces of the people you actually meet: new colleagues, a friend's friends, everyone at the event whose name vanished the second after you heard it. Add the people you want to remember: • Choose photos from your camera roll, including group shots, and keep the faces you want. • Import a list screenshot you are allowed to use, then check and correct the suggested names and photos before saving. • Import from contacts — pick who to remember and their names and photos come across. • Meet someone new? Swap a QR code, or add them manually in a pinch. Practise in short sessions that fit your day. Reveal the name, then tell Namefinity how it went. Names you find difficult come back sooner; names you remember are spaced further apart. Built private, on purpose. Your people, photos, and notes are stored on your phone. Photo and screenshot processing happens on your device. No account or ads. Export a readable copy of your names and notes whenever you like, or share your own profile directly with another phone using a Namefinity QR card. Also inside: • Memory boxes that show who's solid and who's slipping. • Practice packs to train your memory on more than just people. • A gentle once-a-day nudge when names are ready (never more). Available in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Choose your language in You → Language. Find Chinese names in either script or by pinyin. Be suspiciously good with names.

Plainview is Instagram with your friends front and center, and without the machinery that competes for your attention. No Reels, no Explore, no algorithm trying to keep you scrolling. Sign in with your own Instagram account, on Instagram's real login page, and get an intentional version of the service you already use. WHAT YOU GET - A customizable landing page and default feed of only the accounts you follow, with newest posts first - Stories, upgraded from a thin strip to a full-page grid - Direct messages - Search, profiles, likes, and comments - No Reels, no Explore, no suggested posts, no video autoplay - Optional app blocking, to keep the Instagram app from being a distraction HOW IT WORKS Plainview loads instagram.com and applies local filters on your device with nothing sitting between you and Instagram. Your credentials go directly to Instagram, never to us. Plainview collects no data. Requires an existing Instagram account. WHAT'S MISSING - Reels and Explore are gone by design. - Push notifications aren't supported yet. - Posting opens the Instagram app's camera, since Instagram's web tools are limited; app blocking keeps that app from being a distraction the rest of the time. Check in, see your friends' posts and stories, answer your messages, and close the app. That's the point. Plainview is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
