Sherlock is a reverse image search and AI photo checker. Drop in a photo and Sherlock shows you where that image already appears online, whether it looks AI-generated, and what's in it — so you can check a picture before you trust it. WHY SHERLOCK A photo can be borrowed, resold, or generated. Before you act on one, it's worth knowing whether it has been somewhere else first. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Reverse Image Search — find the public pages and sites where the same picture already appears. • Spot AI-Generated Photos — get a score for how likely a picture was made by AI. • Identify What's in the Photo — get a plain description of the object shown. • Keep Your Results — past checks are saved on your device, and only there. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a photo, take one, or paste an image address. 2. Sherlock runs a reverse image search and an AI-generation check. 3. You get a report: where the image appears, how AI-likely it looks, and what it shows. GOOD FOR • A listing photo that looks too good for the price. • A picture someone sent you that feels off. • Checking whether an image is a real photo or AI output. • Finding pages that are using a photo of your own. WHOLE-IMAGE SEARCH, NOT FACE RECOGNITION Sherlock matches the whole picture. It is not facial recognition. It does not detect, scan, or map faces, and it never creates or stores biometric data. It finds public web pages where the same image already appears. PRIVACY • Photos are uploaded over an encrypted connection only to run your check, then deleted from our servers right after — never used to train AI. • Your search history stays on your device. Turn it off or clear it anytime in Settings. • No name or email needed to get started. • Before your first check, Sherlock names every service your photo is sent to. AI NOTICE Reports are generated automatically and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Sherlock gives you signals, not verdicts — always verify before acting. FREE & PREMIUM Start with a free check each day. Premium unlocks unlimited checks and full reports. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled; manage anytime in your App Store account. About

VeilKey

Features

VeilKey is the password manager that can't read your passwords. Everything you save — logins, two-factor codes, private notes — is encrypted on your device with a passphrase only you know. What reaches our servers is unreadable ciphertext. No ads, no tracking, no exceptions. ONE VAULT, THREE THINGS • Passwords — Store logins for every account. Search instantly, copy with a tap. • Authenticator (2FA) — Scan a QR code and get your one-time codes right next to the password they belong to. No separate authenticator app needed. • Secure Notes — Recovery codes, Wi-Fi keys, passport details — anything sensitive, locked down with the same encryption. SECURITY WITHOUT THE HASSLE • Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID • Auto-lock after inactivity — you choose how long • Recovery key, so a forgotten passphrase doesn't mean a lost vault • See and revoke every device signed in to your account TRUE ZERO-KNOWLEDGE Most apps promise privacy. VeilKey is built so it's not a promise — it's math. Encryption and decryption happen only on your device. Your passphrase never leaves it. Our servers store encrypted blobs they cannot open, which means a breach on our side reveals nothing about your data. FREE TO START The Free plan includes 50 entries, 5 authenticator accounts, and 2 active devices — enough to run your digital life from your phone and browser. VEILKEY PREMIUM — monthly subscription Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and it renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current month ends. The current price for your region is shown in the app before you confirm. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. • Unlimited passwords, 2FA codes, and notes • Unlimited devices, with realtime sync between them • Image attachments in notes (500 MB) • Encrypted vault export VEILKEY TEAMS Share collections with your family or team — zero-knowledge sharing, role-based access, and an admin console. Verdict

The call

Sherlock and VeilKey are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Sherlock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and VeilKey sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
