About

Solfinote

Features

Solfinote teaches you to read music, one short lesson at a time. Then it makes you fast. You start with the basics: is the note on a line or in a space? Is it higher or lower? Then you meet G, your first landmark. Each lesson adds a note or two near a landmark, until you can read the whole treble clef: 17 notes, from two short lines below the staff to two above. You don’t just name notes. You place them on the staff, tell a step from a skip, and read three notes in a row, as you would in a piece of music. Every day, a short review brings back the notes you still hesitate on, based on your answers. Once you know the notes, build speed. The 30-second sprint turns reading into a reflex: name as many notes as you can and beat your best. What’s inside: β€’ 20 short lessons, from the lines of the staff to the whole treble clef β€’ Today’s review, on the notes you hesitate on β€’ An optional daily reminder, at the time you pick β€’ The 30-second sprint, to read faster β€’ Practice without a timer, at your own pace β€’ The sound of every note β€’ Letter names (C D E) or Do Re Mi, your choice β€’ A color for every note: a right answer lights up the screen in its color β€’ In lessons, every mistake explains the right answer Who it’s for Beginners of any age: kids starting an instrument, adults who finally want to read sheet music, and anyone taking music lessons. A good companion for flute, violin, recorder, piano, or singing lessons. No account, no ads. Your progress stays on your iPhone. Solfinote covers the treble clef for now.
