Write why. Check if you did. Intenty is an intention journal for digital self-awareness. When you open a watched app, you write why you’re opening it and for how long. When time is up, Intenty asks whether you followed through — feeding your honesty rate and streak. This is not another generic app blocker. Blocking is only the trigger. The product is reflection: a private journal, insights, weekly summaries, and accountability check-ins. FEATURES: • Written Intentions: Capture your reason, duration, and optional mood before using a watched app. • Honesty Check-Ins: When your stated time ends, confirm if you stuck to your intention. • Reflection Journal: Every intention is saved and grouped by app on your device. • Intention Insights: Top apps, reasons, peak times, moods, and honesty rate. • Honesty & Reflection Streaks: Build daily momentum around pausing with purpose. • Weekly Reflection: A 7-day summary of patterns and follow-through. • Quick Reason Templates: Reuse common intentions faster. • Focus Schedules: Choose when intention prompts are active. • Productive Redirects: Optionally open Kindle, Spotify, Duolingo, and more after your intention. • Intenty Pro: Advanced insights, schedules, and an ad-free experience. -- Support yourself Open engaging apps with time limits through the app. When the time is up, the app is blocked so you can follow your original intention. The ideas is that it stops us from endless scrolling sessions, and maybe it even changes our relationship with apps — from opening them out of habit and reflex, to doing so more consciously and with a reservation. -- Support your young adults Intend is built so it can be shared with your Apple Family. Build awareness and healthy digital habits together, as a family. For teenagers who already have their own smartphone, Intend can help them take control. The feeling of setting a limit, and then follow through on it could be highly selfempowering, and maybe it can have a positive impact on other parts of their life. We believe Intend can be a valuable supplement to Apple’s parental controls. -- Give regulated and parent-supervised encounters with technology With Intend, you can start lending sessions by opening apps with a time limit and setting a PIN code. "Intend." blocks the app when the time limit is reached, and ensures that all other apps remain blocked — until the PIN is re-entered. Technology that stops itself, acting as a neutral party, is a rarity in today’s digital landscape. We believe this functionality, used with caution, and by a responsible parent could be of help in postponing the decision of giving our kids their own smartphone. Intend is not designed to capture the user’s attention, and no information about you or your device is collected. This is a tool that runs locally on your device. The app requests access to Screen Time in order to function as intended. The company behind the app is a personal endeavor, driven by a commitment to create technology and other initiatives that bring more calm and initiate more time off screen.
