About

BeadBox 3D

BeadBox is a hands-on counting rack for iPhone and iPad. Children slide 3D beads along rails to make numbers, add, and take away. For multiplication, they move bead bars into equal groups and line up the same bars as an array. The screen stays focused on one activity: a large board, a short prompt, and a clear number. Adults open protected settings to choose Explore, Make Numbers, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, or Mixed practice. They can also choose the counting range and a short session of 3, 5, or 7 activities. Every bead represents one. Each rack row is a collection of ten ones. BeadBox works without an account or network connection. There are no ads or in-app purchases. Settings and practice counts stay on the device. Optional sound, spoken prompts, haptics on supported devices, Reduce Motion, and VoiceOver actions support different ways to use the board.
