About

StajPilot

StajPilot is an independent performance display and wired USB MIDI controller for the KEMPER PROFILER Player and supported MK1/MK2 PROFILER models, including Stage, Head and Rack. Designed for live performance, StajPilot keeps essential rig information clearly visible while providing fast access to the controls you need on stage. FEATURES • Large landscape display optimized for stage visibility • Selectable Player, MK1 and MK2 device profiles • Performance and Browser layouts for MK1/MK2, including Performance slot names and inactive-slot indicators where available • Responsive wired USB MIDI connection • Most display information is driven by real-time MIDI streaming data • Two-way MIDI communication for many supported controls • StajPilot does not use continuous millisecond-interval polling to imitate real-time streaming. Features that genuinely require periodic polling remain disabled by default and can be enabled only when needed, avoiding unnecessary load on the PROFILER • Eight rig effect blocks with on/off status, detailed effect names and touch control • Fixed FX status and Touch/Always controls where supported; unavailable controls are disabled • Five Performance slots with bank navigation where supported, plus Browser navigation for MK1/MK2 • Rig name, amplifier information, gain level and tempo display • Optional Amp Gallery with images assigned to Song bank and slot positions • Pedal Morph support with morph level display • Needle and strobe tuner displays • Tap tempo and direct tempo entry • StajPilot's built-in Song Mode for creating and editing custom song, slot and sub names • Configurable bank limits and bank wrapping • Interactive demo mode for exploring the interface without connected hardware PHYSICALLY TESTED DEVICES • KEMPER PROFILER Player (LV3) • KEMPER PROFILER Stage MK1 USB CONNECTION Connect your iPhone or iPad to the USB-B port of a supported KEMPER PROFILER using a data-capable USB cable. A compatible USB OTG adapter can improve connection compatibility, but the quality of the adapter itself also matters. We strongly recommend both a short, high-quality data-capable USB cable and a high-quality, compatible adapter from reputable manufacturers. An adapter alone does not guarantee a stable connection; the cable, adapter and physical connector fit all matter. During testing with many cables and adapters, we encountered connection errors with a considerable number of combinations on iPhone and iPad. Symptoms included failure to recognize the device, incomplete rig or effect information, interrupted MIDI streaming and failed reconnection. A connection that works with another device may not be reliable with your iPhone or iPad. If information is missing or the connection is unstable, try a different short cable and compatible adapter. Insert all connectors firmly and avoid tension or sideways pressure on the plugs. Compatibility may also vary with connector orientation and connection order. StajPilot does not require an account, subscription or internet connection. COMPATIBILITY NOTICE StajPilot is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kemper GmbH. Compatibility and proper operation with any KEMPER PROFILER model are not guaranteed. Changes to device hardware, firmware, communication protocols or operating systems may affect, limit or discontinue some or all functionality. Before relying on StajPilot at an important performance or event, thoroughly test your complete setup in advance, including your PROFILER, iPhone or iPad, cable, adapter and every function you plan to use.
