Skipback AUv3 implements a tool sometimes referred to as retrospective recording, or retroactive recording or capture MIDI, used by musicians, producers, and sound designers on more expensive electronic instruments. It continuously keeps your most recent audio and MIDI performance in memory, so you can recover a great idea - even if you forgot to press Record. Add the Skipback Audio Unit extension to a track in a compatible AUv3 host, or use it to record the microphone in the standalone app, then play as usual. Audio passes through unchanged while Skipback maintains a rolling history of everything routed through it. When inspiration strikes, simply export what you just played. FEATURES • Retrospective audio and MIDI capture • Transparent audio pass-through • Selectable audio history: 10 seconds, 30 seconds, or 1 minute • Selectable MIDI history: 100, 1,000, or 5,000 notes • Export audio as 24-bit WAV • Export MIDI as a Standard MIDI File • Tap to save using the system share interface • Drag exported files directly into supported hosts (Koala Sampler, Helium in AUM, Cubasis, etc.) • Input level meter for monitoring audio • MIDI activity indicator • Compact interface designed to stay out of your way Skipback stores its rolling history in memory and only creates a file when you choose to export. Whether you are improvising, designing sounds, rehearsing a part, or experimenting with a new instrument, Skipback helps preserve the moments you did not know you wanted to record. Never lose a great take because you forgot to press Record. Requires a compatible Audio Unit v3 host. Host capabilities and drag-and-drop support may vary.

ToneSpace helps you test your room before you record, teach, stream, sing, podcast, or join an important call. Run a short guided room check and get practical scores for noise, echo, voice clarity, and recording level. ToneSpace listens through your microphone only during the test, estimates how ready the room is, and turns the result into clear fixes you can try immediately. Use ToneSpace to: - Check room tone before a podcast, voiceover, vocal take, class, sermon, meeting, or livestream - Measure estimated noise, echo, clarity, and level from a real microphone capture - Choose scoring modes for podcast, voiceover, meeting, vocal, church or hall, online class, and general recording - Follow a guided silence and voice test so you know exactly when to stay quiet and when to speak - Save room profiles and compare how a setup changes over time - Track score trends after moving a mic, closing a window, adding a rug, or softening reflections - Listen back to saved voice samples when sample saving is enabled - Share a clean PDF report with scores, metrics, and suggested fixes - Use dedicated live tools for room echo, background noise, and real-time level checks - Control local history, saved samples, theme, and privacy settings ToneSpace is built for practical creators and everyday rooms. It is not a certified acoustic lab, and its readings are estimates, but it gives you a fast way to understand whether your room is quiet, controlled, and ready enough for the recording you are about to make. Privacy is central to the experience. ToneSpace works without an account. Sessions, room profiles, reports, and optional samples stay on your device unless you choose to share them. You can turn off saved samples and clear local data from Settings.
