ProNextion vs JB Handyman

ProNextion connects skilled subcontractors with construction and home-improvement jobs near them — at a fixed, upfront rate. No bidding wars, no race to the bottom. The first verified pro to accept a job gets it. HOW IT WORKS • Create your profile and pick the trades you work in — tile, drywall, plumbing, electrical, handyman, painting, flooring and more. • Set your service area with a simple map pin and radius. • Complete a one-time onboarding: sign your Independent Contractor Agreement and W-9, and verify your identity securely. • Browse fixed-rate jobs that match your trades and area, with the payout shown upfront. • Request a job in one tap. Once our team approves your request, the full address and details are unlocked and a confirmation is texted to your phone. WHY PROS LIKE IT • Transparent pay — every job shows the payout before you accept. • No bidding — fixed rates, first to accept wins. • Real jobs, real details — photos, scope, schedule, and location. • Built for the trades — fast, simple, and made for the field. ProNextion verifies every subcontractor's identity before they can accept work, so the platform stays trusted on both sides. Subcontractors using ProNextion are independent contractors, not employees.

Handyman on the Go turns "I need to get that fixed" into a booked appointment in about a minute. Pick the work you need done, see the price before you commit, choose a date and time window, and lock it in with a deposit: no phone tag, no waiting on a callback, no vague estimates. BOOK IN THREE STEPS Pick what you need done. Browse services with the hours and price shown on every line. Choose your date and time window—morning, afternoon, or evening. Review and confirm. Check your work order, pay your deposit, and you're on the schedule. HANDYMAN SERVICES TV mounting Furniture assembly Faucet repair Door replacement Drywall patching Light fixture installation Ceiling fan installation Flooring, tile, and laminate Plus general repairs, installs, and small projects around the house MOVING SERVICES Need more than a repair? Schedule a moving estimate for packing, loading, unloading, and moving help, and we'll build a quote around the job. PRICING YOU CAN SEE UP FRONT Every service is billed at a flat hourly rate with the estimated hours listed before you book. Add services and your estimated total updates instantly, so you always know what you're agreeing to. If a job runs longer or shorter than estimated, your final price reflects the actual time worked, and we tell you that up front rather than burying it in the fine print. BUILT FOR REAL SCHEDULES Choose your own service date from an open calendar Pick the window that fits your day: morning, afternoon, or evening Next-day Availability, with dates inside 24 hours locked so every booking gets proper crew scheduling Your address, date, and window are confirmed on screen before payment ADJUST THE JOB TO FIT Your work isn't always a standard line item. Edit the hours on any service, and the price recalculates automatically from the hourly rate, so a quick five-minute mount and a full afternoon of assembly are both priced fairly. EVERY BOOKING, DOCUMENTED Each job generates a work order with its own reference number listing the services selected, hours, rate, date, time window, and service address. Review it before you pay and keep it for your records afterward. SECURE DEPOSITS Pay your deposit in the app to confirm your slot. Your booking is held the moment payment goes through.
