READ IN 1,000+ TRANSLATIONS The World English Bible and King James Version are built in and work fully offline. Beyond those, choose from over 1,000 translations across 1,200+ languages, fetched on demand and cached on your device for next time. SEE THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGES Read the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek behind every verse. Tap any word for its transliteration, pronunciation, parsing, Strong's number, and lexicon meaning โ then find every other place it appears with a single tap. The names and titles of God are highlighted with what they mean. STUDY NOTES THAT MAKE SENSE Every chapter opens with a clear, plain-language summary: the key ideas, the verses they come from, and a question to sit with. Matthew Henry's classic commentary is one tap away when you want to go deeper, along with cross-references for any verse. LOOK ANYTHING UP A built-in dictionary (Easton's and Smith's) and Nave's Topical Bible help you explore the people, places, and themes of Scripture. WATCH AND UNDERSTAND Overview and themed videos from BibleProject are embedded right where they're relevant. ASK REAL QUESTIONS Ask about a passage, a theme, or how to apply it, and get clear, pastoral answers grounded in trusted reference sources โ with citations, so you can check the text yourself. MAKE IT YOURS Highlight verses, write notes, save favorites, and bookmark your place. Follow reading plans, keep a reading diary, and set gentle daily reminders. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your notes, highlights, and plans stay on your device. Back them up to a file, or use the optional end-to-end encrypted cloud backup, secured by a private code only you hold โ no account, ever. Free. No ads. No tracking. Just Scripture, made clear.
MannaForMe
Read full descriptionHide full description
MannaForMe is a free Bible app built around three things: reading Scripture, asking real questions about it, and seeing where it happened. READ Six translations, one tap apart โ Berean Standard Bible, World English Bible, King James Version, NET, NIV and NKJV. Adjustable text size, chapter-by-chapter navigation across book boundaries, and your place saved so you can pick up where you left off on any device. ASK Ask about a passage, a person, or a question of faith, and get an answer drawn from Scripture and named commentary โ with every source shown, so you can check it rather than take it on trust. If an answer leans on Matthew Henry or Keil-Delitzsch, you can open the passage it drew from and judge for yourself. SEE Maps of the places in the chapter you are reading, plus more than a hundred public-domain and openly licensed illustrations and maps: the tabernacle and its furnishings, Gustave Dore's engravings, purpose-made maps of the Gospels and Paul's journeys. Every image carries its source and license. NOTES AND BOOKMARKS Keep notes anchored to a passage, bookmark what you want to return to, and search the text. FREE, AND STAYING THAT WAY No ads. No subscription. No paid tier, now or later. No trackers or analytics of any kind. MannaForMe is funded by donations on the website, never in the app. WHAT IT WILL NOT DO It will not counsel you. When a message suggests someone may be in danger, the app answers with real helplines instead of commentary โ and that check runs before any AI sees the message, so it cannot be skipped by an outage or a model getting it wrong. Your conversations and notes are private to your account and are never sold, shared, or used to train anything. You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from inside the app.
