Sumut (suh-MOOT) shows you what you need, the moment you need it. The next prayer. The time remaining. The direction to face. Nothing more. No account. No sign-in. No ads, and nothing to buy. Prayer times and the Qibla are calculated on your device and work without a connection. Sumut has no servers: your location is never sent to us. Looking up a city or nearby mosques goes through Apple Maps, and sync uses your own iCloud. Prayer times, computed for where you are: Five daily prayers and sunrise, calculated precisely for your location. Choose from fifteen calculation methods or set your own angles, or let Sumut pick the right one for your country. Set your madhab. Save multiple cities. A live countdown shows the time to the next prayer at a glance. Called, when it's time: Notifications for each prayer, with your choice of adhan, or import your own recording, and haptics. A dedicated Fajr alarm for the prayer that matters most to wake for. A reminder a few minutes ahead, so you're never caught off guard. The direction to face: A live Qibla compass points to Makkah, with bearing and distance. Find nearby mosques when you need them. The Hijri month, at a glance: A full Hijri calendar beside the Gregorian one. Islamic occasions you can add to your calendar. The sky, honestly rendered: Watch the sun trace its path from Fajr to Isha on an astrolabe — the instrument Muslim astronomers used for a thousand years to read the sky and find their direction. See the moon as it is tonight, with phase, illumination, and the White Days ahead. Made for iPhone Duo: Open the phone and Sumut opens with it. On the inner display, the astrolabe, the earth and the moon rise from the bottom edge at a touch. Fold it like a book and each instrument takes a side of its own; stand it like a laptop and it becomes a clock in StandBy. Close it, and the cover display keeps the next prayer a glance away. Made for every screen: Sumut runs on every iPhone with iOS 17 or later, through iOS 27, including iPhone Duo, and on iPad. A native Apple Watch app, with the astrolabe on your wrist and the next prayer a glance away. Widgets and complications for your Home Screen, Lock Screen, and watch face. Siri knows your next prayer, today's times, your Qibla, and the Hijri date. Yours: English, Arabic, Indonesian and Turkish, with full right-to-left support. Three themes, including a living sky that follows the real sun through the day. Western or Eastern Arabic numerals. Your cities and preferences sync privately across your devices through iCloud. Sumut asks nothing of you. It simply does its work.
