Duspik vs Bloom Prep for IELTS® Reading

Duspik teaches languages the way a good tutor would: it explains WHY, then makes it stick. Most apps drill you with endless repetition and hope the grammar sinks in by accident. Duspik starts with the rule — written like a human explaining it to a friend — then locks it in with vocabulary, a short story, and exercises where an AI tutor grades what you MEANT, not just the exact words. LEARN 10 LANGUAGES Spanish, Russian, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese — with courses built for speakers of English, Spanish, and Russian. REAL GRAMMAR, HUMAN WORDS Every lesson opens with the rule, told simply. Didn't get it? One tap and your AI tutor re-explains it with fresh examples — and compares it with how your own language works. AN AI TUTOR THAT GETS YOU Type your answers freely. The tutor accepts synonyms, forgives typos, and tells you what to fix — like a person would, not an answer key. JAPANESE, KOREAN & CHINESE DONE RIGHT Build words from sound tiles with pronunciation hints, tap any symbol to hear it, and learn the scripts with interactive charts. A NEW LESSON EVERY DAY — FREE Your first lessons are completely open. After that, a fresh lesson unlocks every single day, free, forever. Duspik Pro removes the wait so you can learn at your own pace. MAKE IT A HABIT Streaks, a daily word, a fast-paced word Train game, friends and leaderboards — small daily wins that add up to a language. WORKS OFFLINE On a plane or out of data? Lessons, reviews, and your progress all work without a connection and sync when you're back. — Duspik Pro — Learn at your own pace with unlimited lessons, get the Daily Word, and unlock 19,000+ words. Bloom is a premium, subscription-based prep app focused entirely on the Global Reading examination. All practice content and study-plan features require an active subscription. How Bloom Works: Start by telling Bloom your test date and test type. From there, Bloom maps out a study path with daily assignments, so there's always a clear next step instead of an overwhelming pile of practice material. Reading questions come at you in a quick, swipeable, adaptive feed. Bloom pays attention to why an answer was wrong, not just that it was, whether it's a vocabulary gap, a timing issue, or trouble with a specific question type like matching headings or True/False/Not Given, and lines up the next passage or drill to target that exact weak spot. Your weakest Reading skills get surfaced as you go, and the plan itself isn't fixed: every week it's recalculated based on your accuracy, consistency, and how much you've actually completed, so it keeps adjusting to where you really are instead of where a generic schedule assumes you'd be. Pricing & Terms: Bloom offers auto-renewing subscriptions for unlimited access to the Bloom personalized training engine. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings. Previous purchases can be restored within the app. Practice content and the app interface are in English.
