Hide God's word in your heart — one verse at a time. Ingrain is a guided Scripture memorization app. Instead of staring at a verse and hoping it sticks, you work through a short lesson that carries you from hearing a verse, to understanding it in context, to recalling it on your own. Then it brings the verse back for review as your memory starts to fade. No guilt. No pressure. Just a clear next thing to do. HOW A LESSON WORKS Every verse climbs a practice ladder built around how memory actually forms: - Listen — hear the verse read aloud - Context — read the surrounding passage so the words mean something - Flashcard — check what you already know - Word Order — rebuild the verse from its own words - Fill in the Blank — finish the verse from clues - Matching — connect references to passages - First Letter Recall — type the first letter of each word to recall the whole verse from memory - Speak It! — say it out loud - And bonus exercises like connect the sections, find the reference, and more! HANDS-FREE PRACTICE Put your phone in your pocket. Hands-Free plays the reference, then the verse, then a chime, then a timed silence for you to recall it — round after round, with full Lock Screen and Control Center controls. Review while you drive, walk the dog, wash dishes, or fall asleep. Choose two to four rounds per verse and repeat any session. A COMPLETE OFFLINE BIBLE READER Read any chapter in seven translations: King James (KJV), World English Bible, American Standard, Berean Standard, Bible in Basic English, Young's Literal, and Douay-Rheims. Search the whole text, switch between cream, white, and night reading surfaces, size the type, highlight verses, follow cross references, and open Strong's and dictionary entries on any word. Every Scripture link in a lesson, quiz, or trivia question can open the reader exactly at the highlighted verse. QUIZ AND TRIVIA Quiz tests the verses you've memorized with different and fresh games, tracks your history, and feeds your study streak. Quizes only test 5 verses at a time with fun, timed exercises. Trivia is separate — a Daily Challenge and custom rounds that build broad Bible knowledge, with XP, levels, a Study Map, and reader links on every reference. GROUPS, WITHOUT THE NOISE Join with your church, small group, or family and study the same verse together. Leaders set a weekly focus and curate the group's content. There is no chat, no feed, no likes, no direct messages, and no public profiles, just a focus on studying the Word of God. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Beautiful Verse of the Day, Ingrain Minute, and Your Verses widgets update as you study. START HOWEVER YOU WANT Explore as a guest with no account at all. Create one when you want your progress to follow you across phone, tablet, and web. INGRAIN+ Free includes the full Bible reader, memorization lessons, quizzes, trivia, group membership, and more.
