Atosuma is an iPhone app that locks the apps you open out of habit, like social media and video apps. You open locked apps with keys you earn by focusing on things like studying or work. By default, one hour of focus lets you use those apps for up to 20 minutes. Tasks first. Scroll later. Atosuma doesn't ban scrolling. It flips the order of your tasks and your scrolling. Get your tasks done first, and social media and videos come after. The more you put scrolling off, the less time you naturally end up spending on it. Many app blockers let you get more time with a single tap. With Atosuma, unlocking your apps takes keys, and the only way to get keys is to focus on something. When you run out of keys, your locked apps stay locked until you focus again and earn more. β–  How it works 1. Pick your apps Choose the apps you lose track of time in. Once you pick them, they won't open without keys. 2. Focus to earn keys When you begin a task, start the timer in Atosuma. The longer you focus, the more keys you earn. 3. Choose a time and unlock Decide how many minutes you want, then spend the matching number of keys to unlock your apps. When the time is up, your apps lock again automatically. If you stop the timer early, you still get keys for the time you focused. If you re-lock your apps early, your unused keys come back. The Atosuma home screen also shows your screen time for the day. If you tend to reach for your phone before getting to the things you need to do, Atosuma is for you. Start with today's tasks and try flipping the order. Some features require Atosuma Pro, a paid auto-renewing subscription. Atosuma uses Apple's Screen Time framework to lock apps.
