Point your iPhone at the night sky — and know exactly what you're looking at. Cosmo Lens is a real-time star map and AR sky tracker that identifies stars, planets, constellations, satellites, and galaxies the moment you aim your phone at them. Built for stargazing beginners and seasoned astronomers alike — and it works fully offline, even at remote dark-sky sites with no signal. YOUR PERSONAL PLANETARIUM - Identify what's above you instantly: aim your iPhone and the sky map follows your every move. - AR mode with Sky Blend: see constellations drawn over your live camera view, and swipe to fade between the real sky and the map. - Explore nearly 100,000 stars, all 88 constellations with stunning hologram artwork, the full Messier catalog, and thousands of NGC/IC deep-sky objects — galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. - Night mode with red-light filter protects your dark-adapted eyes in the field. TONIGHT'S SKY, SCORED - A nightly Sky Score (0–100) tells you at a glance if it's worth going out, combining darkness, moon brightness, cloud forecast, and a built-in light pollution atlas. - Get tonight's best picks: visible planets, ISS passes, meteor showers, and rare events — plus a week-ahead outlook. - Add the home screen widget to check tonight's score and upcoming events without opening the app. TIME TRAVEL THROUGH THE SKY - Jump to any date — past or future — with a cinematic animation. - Preview solar and lunar eclipses, planetary conjunctions, planet parades, and supermoons before they happen, then scrub hour by hour around the event. MOON & ECLIPSES, MAPPED - A complete moon calendar with phases, illumination, rise and set times, and the traditional names and folklore of every full moon. - Watch the Moon's arc glide over a 3D map of your real surroundings, and trace upcoming solar eclipse paths on the map. TRACK EVERYTHING THAT MOVES - Follow the ISS, Hubble, and over 150 visible satellites in real time. - Never miss a meteor shower, bright comet, or eclipse with smart notifications tuned to your location. - Planets rendered with real detail — plus asteroids, comets, and even Jupiter's four largest moons. AN ENCYCLOPEDIA IN YOUR POCKET - Tap any object for photos, key facts, and stories: from Saturn's rings to distant nebulae and black holes. - Search anything — "Andromeda", "M31", "ISS" — and let the arrow guide you straight to it in the sky. WHY COSMO LENS? - Works offline: the full star catalog and sky engine live on your phone. No signal needed under the darkest skies. - Zero ads: nothing between you and the stars. - Available in 15 languages. About

Umbro

Features

Umbro tells you what an eclipse will look like from wherever you are. Pick a spot. Your current location, a city, or a point in the middle of the ocean. Umbro works out the whole event for it: when the Moon first touches the Sun, when totality begins and ends, how much of the Sun is covered at maximum, and where in the sky to look. COUNTDOWN AND LIVE TRACKING A running countdown to first contact, then to each contact after it. On the day, a Live Activity puts the countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and its icon changes as the eclipse moves from partial to totality and back. LOCAL CIRCUMSTANCES Contact times to the second, magnitude, obscuration, Sun altitude and azimuth, and the duration of totality. All of it computed on your device from Besselian elements, with no connection required. THE PATH The umbral track drawn across an interactive globe and map. Scrub time forward and back to watch the shadow cross the Earth. LUNAR ECLIPSES The Moon as well as the Sun. Every lunar eclipse for the next 25 years, with the time each stage begins and ends where you are, whether the Moon will be above your horizon for it, and how deeply it enters the Earth's shadow. This kind is safe to watch with your eyes alone. No filter, and binoculars make it better. WHERE TO GO For an eclipse worth travelling for, a shortlist of places along the path. Each one shows how long totality lasts, how high the Sun will be, and twenty years of cloud records for that date, so you can weigh a longer drive against a clearer sky. WILL YOU ACTUALLY SEE IT? Cloud cover forecasts for your location in the days before the event, so you know whether it is worth moving. EYE SAFETY, STATED PLAINLY Umbro tells you when it is not safe to look at the Sun without a filter, and during totality only, when it is. The guidance is tied to the contact times computed for your exact position rather than to a general rule of thumb. A CAMERA BUILT FOR THE EVENT An eclipse capture mode, with exposure locked and stepped through a bracket ladder suited to each phase. It re-meters as the Sun climbs or sinks, and merges an HDR corona stack from the totality frames. A thin partial crescent and a full corona are not metered the same way, and Umbro does not pretend otherwise. WATCHING FROM A SHIP? If the position you choose is out in open water, Umbro offers a vessel mode that accounts for drift and for the roll of a deck when it works out contact times and camera settings. WIDGETS Home Screen widgets with the countdown, the coverage, and the sky at maximum. UPCOMING ECLIPSES Every solar and lunar eclipse for the next 25 years, each with the local circumstances for your position, and a reminder you can set for any one of them. ON A LARGER SCREEN On iPad, and on a folding iPhone opened out, the list of eclipses sits beside the eclipse itself rather than behind a tab. Umbro is in English, Spanish, French and Arabic. Umbro has no advertising, no accounts, and no third-party trackers. It reports its own crashes so they can be fixed, and nothing it sends identifies you. Astronomical algorithms after Jean Meeus. Weather data by Open-Meteo. Not affiliated with NASA or any observatory. SAFETY: Never look at the Sun without proper solar filters, except during the brief total phase. Umbro's guidance is a convenience and not a substitute for certified eye protection.
