Did the fire marshal cite your business for something you'd already fixed? A fire-code citation can carry a 30-day correction window, a re-inspection fee, and, if a deadline slips, a daily fine. When you correct the violation or contest a citation you believe is wrong, the burden is on you to show what happened. Emberwrit is where you build that record. Emberwrit is a private, contemporaneous defense-and-correction log for small-business owners cited by the fire marshal - restaurants, retail, warehouses, hotels. You log each citation the day you get it, write down your side, document how and when you fixed it, photograph the work, and keep every deadline in front of you. WHAT YOU CAN LOG - Each inspection visit: site, date, fire inspector, 30-day correction deadline - Each citation: fire-code section, violation type (blocked exit, extinguisher, sprinkler, and more), severity, the inspector's quote, your written objection - Each correction: what you did, the completion date, the re-inspection result, and any re-inspection fee - Photos (camera or your library) of the cited condition and your fix - Correction, re-inspection, and appeal deadlines, each with a countdown FREE - Up to 10 citations, each with full visit detail, objection, and correction - The Corrections log - your ongoing record of every corrective action - The read-only evidence timeline - Share any inspection as plain text - IFC / NFPA and local fire-code and appeals-board reference - On-screen deadline countdowns - App Lock (Face ID / Touch ID) PRO - 19.99 USD per year, with a 7-day free trial - Unlimited inspection visits and citations across every location - Evidence timeline PDF - every citation, objection, fix, result, and photo, ready for a hearing - Appeal and re-inspection request letters (PDF), from a template - Reminders before every correction, re-inspection, and appeal deadline, plus optional Calendar events - Photo attachments on your citations and corrections LIFETIME - 49.99 USD once - Everything in Pro, with no renewal. WHAT EMBERWRIT IS NOT - Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any fire department, fire marshal's office, or government agency. - Not affiliated with any fire-protection service, code-consulting service, or law firm. - Does not give legal advice, does not decide whether a citation is valid or will be overturned, and does not replace your fire department's process. Emberwrit is for documenting your corrections and appealing unfair citations - it is not a way to avoid or bypass any fire-safety requirement. Fire-code references are general information only. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your citation records, correction notes, and attached photos live on your iPhone. There is no account, and nothing is uploaded to a server. A photo you take or choose attaches to the record it belongs to - there is no separate file library. Emberwrit is designed exclusively for iPhone. REFERENCE RESOURCES (always in the Reference tab) - Your local fire appeals board or Board of Appeals process - Your state fire marshal's office - A licensed fire-code consultant - U.S. Small Business Administration (sba.gov) SUBSCRIPTION TERMS The annual subscription auto-renews until canceled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours prior. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. The Lifetime purchase is a single charge with no recurring billing. DATA NOTICE Emberwrit stores all data, including photos, on your iPhone and in your iOS Backups when enabled. Data leaves the app only through the share, PDF, and letter you generate yourself. If you delete Emberwrit without an iOS Backup, your records and photos cannot be recovered.
