Learn new tunes and play them with your session. Trad Buddy is for Irish traditional musicians of every level. It knows the tunes you play, the tunes your friends and your session play, and the difference, so you always know what to learn next. THE TUNES YOUR SESSION PLAYS Start a session for the one you play at, and everyone joins with a code or the QR code on the table. See every tune the session plays, how many of them you know, and which to learn next. Make a set you can all play. FRIENDS Follow friends by their code and see the tunes you share and the ones that are new to you. On any tune, see which of your friends play it. A PLAYER THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SESSION 11,700 tunes from TheSession.org with sheet music and tab: GDAE for banjo, mandolin and fiddle, plus guitar and DADGAD. Reels swing and jigs lilt. Slow it down, loop a part, change the key, and tap any note to hear it. Works with your phone on silent. Up to 10 versions of each tune, and a link to the tune on thesession.org. SETS Get three ready-made sets from the tunes you know, build your own, or try a Surprise set, where the next tune stays hidden until it's time to change. YOUR TUNES Keep track of the tunes you know, the ones you're learning, and the ones gone a bit rusty. Level up as your repertoire grows, with a title for every level. EASY TO READ Big, clear text in three sizes, and three looks: Classic, Night, or the original 8-bit. Works offline. No ads. Signing in is optional: use a code from your email, and add a password if you like, to keep your tunes on every phone and computer.

Tradcara is your personal tune book for Irish traditional music. Build your repertoire, track what's session ready and what's gone rusty on every instrument, get tunes up to speed by ear, and put together the sets you play at sessions. Local-first and private by design. KNOW YOUR REPERTOIRE • For each instrument, mark tunes as known, learning, or want-to-learn. Known tunes return to your practice queue when they need refreshing. • Save your comfortable tempo and confidence. • Keep the setting you actually play. PRACTISE TUNES UP TO SPEED • Hear any tune played back from its ABC and learn it by ear. • Slow it right down, then bring it back up and loop the whole tune, or drill a section, a line, or a single bar until it's under your fingers. • Add a metronome with a simple or traditional feel to lock in your timing. • Log your practice as your repertoire grows. BUILD SETS FOR SESSIONS • Group tunes into the sets and set lists you play at sessions and classes. • Share sets and set lists by QR code, link or file. No account needed. • Publish a set list for other players to follow and share updates when it changes. A HUGE OFFLINE CATALOGUE TO DRAW FROM • Search thousands of traditional tunes, including reels, jigs, hornpipes and more. Completely offline. • Filter by type and key, sort by popularity, and add tunes straight to your book. • Add your own custom tunes and include them in the sets you build and share. • Paste or import a tune list, review matches, and continue later without losing your progress. YOURS, AND PRIVATE • No ads, tracking, analytics or account required. • Your tune book and practice data stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Back it all up and restore it whenever you need to. • Import a tune list from notes or files, or bring in your Tunebook, Sets and Bookmarks from The Session. Review matches and continue later without losing your progress. For fiddle, flute, whistle, concertina, accordion, banjo, pipes and every other instrument in the tradition.
