Strength training that works around your joints. Most lifting apps hand everyone the same plan and hope your shoulder agrees. Liftspan asks what hurts first. Tell it about a cranky shoulder, a bad knee or a sore lower back and it builds every session around them, tells you exactly what to lift, and moves the weight when you've earned it. Snap your program. Got a program from a coach, a book or the whiteboard at your gym? Take a photo. Liftspan reads every line, matches every move, keeps your sets and reps, swaps anything that loads a joint you told it about, and coaches you through it. Your first import is free. Chosen around your body. Every movement in the library carries a joint and lower-back rating. Tell it your shoulder or your back is a problem and those lifts stop being offered, replaced with a named alternative that trains the same muscle. Load jumps get halved. Blocks deload sooner. And the joint filtering is free. (It's not medical advice; see below.) Tell it how you feel. Type "shoulder's cranky and I slept badly" and today's session reshapes: overhead work swaps out, a set comes off, the load eases. Just for today. Time your holds. Planks and carries count up, turn green at your target and keep going so you can beat it. The timer shows on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on Apple Watch. Train wherever you are. Full gym, home gym, hotel, bodyweight, dumbbells only, bands only. 267 movements, including machines, cables, landmine work and carries. Switch mid-week and every weight you've worked up to carries across. A streak for showing up, not just lifting. Log a walk, a bike ride, yoga, or "something else" and your flame stays lit; lifting days count on their own. Bank a full training week and you earn a freeze that covers a missed day. The Liftspan widget puts it on your Home Screen. Turn on reminders and you get a Monday heads-up, a nudge when your week is about to slip, and a 10 am reminder on days you haven't logged yet. Keep it with a friend. Invite a streak partner and keep a shared streak together. They see whether you logged today, your flame, and the streak you've built as a pair. Never your weights or your history. Proof you're actually getting stronger. Estimated 1RM on every lift, every all-time best recorded the moment you hit it, and your weekly hard sets measured against what the science says. Save your workout card straight to Photos when you want to share it. Bring your history. Already on Strong or Hevy? Import your CSV and your sessions and working weights come across, never above what you've actually lifted. It exports right back out too. Free to start. Free forever: log every workout, a starting plan that works around the joints you tell it about, the daily streak and one streak partner, the streak widget, badges and levels, your training synced to every device, and full export. No ads, no session limits, nothing ever deleted. Pro is the coach in full: the daily check-in, progression that keeps moving the weight, building your own program, unlimited swaps and the whole library, every training environment, the hold timer, reminders, Apple Health sync, the rest timer in your Dynamic Island and on Apple Watch, and the progress screen. Try Pro free for 7 days. Lifting, for the long haul. Not medical advice. If something hurts, stop, and talk to your doctor before starting a training program.
