Ask Lao Tzu whether to take the job. He answers from the Tao Te Ching. Consult Epictetus about how to handle a difficult situation with a co-worker and he cites his Discourses. Answers show a reference to the philosopher's original work to support their claims: tap the reference to read that passage as a one-line gist, a short summary, or the translator's original text. Who's here? Buddha, Lao Tzu, Confucius, Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Nietzsche, Marx, Thoreau, Benjamin Franklin, King Solomon, Moses, Paul, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Martin Luther and John Calvin. More being added, just ask! Group Debates Start a chat with both Nietzsche and Aquinas and ask about suffering. Get their best statements and counterarguments to each other to help you see the question from several sides. They reply to you and to each other, supporting their points with citations. Write in your own language Most languages are supported. Write to the Buddha in Arabic and the answer comes back in Arabic, with the Dhammapada verse number. Characters are played by an AI and can be wrong. Citations let you confirm the philosophers' original meaning. 10 free messages a day. QuickWord is a simple place to keep the Bible verses you're memorizing. Type a reference like John 3:16 or Psalm 23:1-6 and QuickWord fetches the text in your choice of ESV, NIV, CSB, NLT, or KJV. Or type a verse in yourself. Tap a verse to open the deck. Swipe cards away to move through your verses, and turn on flashcard mode to test yourself: see the reference and tap to reveal the verse, see the verse and tap to reveal the reference, or let QuickWord pick at random for each card. Add the widget to your home screen to keep a verse in front of you all day. It rotates through your list every half hour, or you can feature one verse to pin it there. Tap the widget to jump straight to that verse in the app. Your verses are stored only on your device. No account, no sign-in, no tracking. Scripture text is provided by API.Bible and the ESV API and is subject to each publisher's copyright.
