Glyphraid

Learn Thai or Japanese a little every day. The words you keep forgetting are the ones Glyphraid remembers for you, and it brings them back right before they slip away. Glyphraid teaches Thai and Japanese, from the alphabet up, in short daily sessions. Every card you meet goes into your library and climbs five levels of mastery. A card only moves up when you get it right again on a later day. That is spaced repetition: you meet each word again just as you are about to forget it, which is what moves it into long term memory instead of letting it fall out overnight. The words you know are your attack. Every monster on screen is holding a word card. Answer it and you strike. Miss it and it hits you back. There is no tapping your way through, and no way to deal damage except actually knowing the word. The roguelike runs, the relics and the dungeons are all in there for one reason: to make daily review something you want to come back to. What's inside โ The whole Thai writing system: 44 consonants, 34 vowels and tones โ 1008 cards across 33 themes: greetings, numbers, food, getting around, shopping, health, work and more โ Japanese from the ground up: hiragana, katakana, and the combined sounds like ใใ, ใฃ and ใผ โ 7,731 Japanese words sorted by level, N5 to N1, with notes on usage and the words that look like Chinese but mean something else โ Three ways to be asked: read the word, listen and answer, or type it from the meaning โ A library of every card you have ever met, showing what you are strong and weak at โ Clear audio on every word โ Works offline โ No ads. Ever. Free and paid Free forever: three Thai starter themes (104 cards), and all of Japanese kana plus the first N5 and N4 sets (284 cards). One optional one-time purchase unlocks everything in both languages. No subscription, no energy meter, no ads. Shake your phone anywhere in the app to report a bug or ask for something. Feedback really does change what gets built next. Made by a solo developer learning Thai the hard way. Japanese levels follow community word lists. Glyphraid is not affiliated with the JLPT or its organizers.
