ComicLens vs We Heart Comics

Photograph a comic cover to explore its title, issue and cover version. ComicLens brings publication details, visible condition and a value estimate together, helping you put the next comic in its place on your shelf. Find the issue Take a cover photo or choose one from your library. Explore the likely title, issue and publisher, then review or correct the match. Look beyond the cover Explore cover variants and issue details, including why an issue may interest collectors. Keep those details with the comic you are researching. Compare condition and value Compare the visible condition with an estimate and the explanation behind it. Use the condition options to see prices by condition. Refine issue details With an unlocked result, correct the issue, printing or cover version and request a new estimate. Build your collection Save an unlocked result, add notes and organize items in folders. Revisit your saved details and identification history as you explore. Wishlist and series view Keep unlocked results on a wishlist for comics you want to buy, and browse your collection by series and issue number. Learn with 12 guides Read 12 topic guides in step-by-step pages, alongside other in-app articles. No subscription is needed to read the guides. Ask your next question Open the assistant from the result page to ask follow-up questions and keep learning. Usage limits are shown in the app. Understand estimates Matches and details can be mistaken or incomplete. Values are estimates, not verified sale prices, authentication, offers or financial advice. Actual prices depend on condition, demand and where you sell; condition-specific prices appear only when supplied, and changing a condition may not produce a new estimate. Collection totals summarize saved estimates, not live market changes. A cover photo cannot establish every interior page’s condition or authenticate a comic. Key-issue details are research leads, not verified first-appearance or rarity certificates. Understand your privacy We use PostHog for limited product analytics and AppsFlyer to measure installations and ads for our apps. Explore access and purchases Explore with an initial allowance of complete photo-identification results. Once it is used, parts of new results are locked and a paid upgrade is offered. Availability and limits are shown in the app. Paid access applies to this app. Check the purchase screen for available options, prices, trial eligibility and usage limits.
