Deep In vs Teneo

Here you don't learn a language — here you feel it. You watch real YouTube videos in English and take apart whatever you didn't catch, right where you are. The difference: not lessons, immersion. ONE LINE, ALL THE WAY DOWN Someone in the video says "she's so game." Every word is familiar. Game — a game? No: she's completely up for it. A dictionary hands you one meaning and stops there. Solomia keeps going: why "game" and not "ready", who you can say it to, and three more places it turns up. NOT THE USUAL WAY No dull lessons, no homework. No invented dialogues and no manufactured topics. No practice with a teacher who isn't a native speaker either. Everything here is the real thing from the start: you just watch video in the original, on the subjects you actually care about. You learn to understand native speakers — their imperfect, spoken, real language. And you fill your vocabulary with the words and phrases they actually use. AN ENORMOUS CATALOGUE From travel vlogs to talks on anything you like. History, hiking, AI. Podcasts, stand-up, interviews, TV shows. Or add any YouTube video to your own space yourself. You watch what interests you and learn the language at the same time. INTERACTIVE SUBTITLES Stop at any moment and take apart what you didn't get. Subtitles in two languages. Any moment can go deep with Solomia, and any word or phrase can be kept — together with the sentence it came from. A VOCABULARY YOU COME BACK TO Review what you kept as flashcards, or work it through with Solomia. She brings your own words back into conversation, in new examples, until they arrive without you reaching. SOLOMIA, OUT LOUD So that you don't only understand and know a lot, but can actually speak. Talk about the video you just watched the way you would with a friend. Or ask how to say something. No appointment, and nobody else in the room. COMPLETE FREEDOM You do and watch what you want, when you want, as much as you want. No compulsory rigid programme. Only your pace, your taste and your own responsibility. WHY IT WORKS It's like stepping into the language itself. Closer to how a child learns to understand, and then to speak, their first language. They just listen, and then try. Nobody teaches them grammar or rules. By their first lesson they already understand everything — and speak freely, sometimes far too much. Just try it. Dive and feel. Whether you're learning a new language, preparing for an exam, memorizing important facts, or building a new skill, Teneo helps you keep everything in one place. Learn smarter Teneo uses spaced repetition with the FSRS algorithm to help you review cards at the right time. Customize your learning experience with daily limits, new card limits, learning steps, maximum intervals, and more. See your progress, review available cards, and always know what to study next. Each card is scheduled individually, so you can focus on learning instead of keeping track of what to review. Create better flashcards Create cards for anything you want to learn and make them more useful with images. Need to quickly add text from a book, screen, or another source? Simply point your camera at it, preview the recognized text in real time, and add it directly to your card. Keep everything organized Organize your decks into folders and arrange your learning the way that works best for you. Move decks into folders or take them out whenever you want. Make your decks and folders easy to recognize and personal by adding custom images and emojis. If you don't add an image, your selected emoji becomes the visual icon of the deck or folder. Everything you need to learn your way • Create unlimited decks and flashcards • Add images to your cards • Capture text with your camera in real time • Organize decks into folders • Move decks in and out of folders • Personalize decks and folders with images and emojis • Search through your cards • Choose your preferred app language Share, export, and restore Share individual decks with friends or move them between your own devices. Teneo creates a .teneo file containing the deck, its cards, and any included images. You can also export your entire collection and move it to another device. Your folders, decks, cards, and learning progress are preserved, so you can continue exactly where you left off — including scheduled reviews and card intervals. Teneo also automatically creates backups of your collection whenever changes are made. The 10 most recent backup copies are kept on your device, including your cards, organization, and learning progress. If you accidentally delete something or make an unwanted change, simply restore a previous backup and get your collection back. Older backups are replaced only when newer ones are created.
