Your AI coding agents are already running on your Mac. Port22 doesn't launch, wrap, or replace them — it attaches to what's there and puts every session on your phone, including a permission prompt you can answer in a tap. Start Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode in whatever terminal you like. Nothing about your setup changes. Port22 just gives you the whole fleet from anywhere. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the free Port22 agent on your Mac — it's a menu-bar app, no configuration. 2. Pair your phone by typing a six-character code. No account, no sign-up. 3. Your sessions appear. Start them however you already do. MISSION CONTROL FOR YOUR FLEET See every session at a glance: which agent is working, which one is blocked on you, which one is done. No log tailing, no raw error strings — just states a human can read. WHEN AN AGENT IS BLOCKED Your phone tells you the moment an agent needs permission. Open Port22 and every option the agent actually offered is there as a real button — never a guessed keystroke, never an inferred choice. Answer it and the agent carries on. THE REAL CONVERSATION Read the full transcript exactly as it happened — prose, tool calls, diffs. Send a new prompt. Answer a multiple-choice question with real buttons instead of guessed keystrokes. Nothing is truncated. WORKS OFF YOUR NETWORK On your network it connects directly over your LAN. Off it, it fails over automatically to an encrypted relay, and you keep working from anywhere. Taurine, our keep-awake mode, stops your Mac napping mid-run so a long job survives the walk to the coffee shop. END-TO-END ENCRYPTED Your Mac and your iPhone verify each other's identity when they connect, then talk over an AES-256-GCM encrypted channel that the relay in between cannot read. There is no account and no sign-up — pairing is a code you type once. FREE FOREVER One Mac and two sessions, with every feature unlocked. Not a trial and not a crippled tier: off-network access, permission approvals, Taurine, and the full conversation are all included. The two sessions you're using stay free. PORT22 UNLIMITED Unlimited Macs and unlimited sessions, so you can drive the whole fleet at once. An annual subscription that renews automatically until cancelled. Pricing is shown in the app. REQUIRES THE MAC AGENT Port22 needs the free Port22 companion app running on your Mac. Download it at tryport22.com. Hetzner Manager
Read full descriptionHide full description
Hetzner Manager is a native iOS and macOS server monitor and admin console for your Hetzner Cloud VPS fleet — built for the local-first, safe-operations model self-hosters and sysadmins actually trust. Add your Hetzner Cloud API token, start read-only, and elevate to full control only when you need it. Your token stays in the iOS Keychain. There is no backend, no token proxy, and no analytics — every request goes straight from your device to the Hetzner Cloud API. KEY FEATURES Fleet Dashboard See every server's status, region, and resource counts at a glance, with quick filters for running, offline, volumes, firewalls, and load balancers. Server Detail & Power Actions Start, stop, reboot, and power-cycle servers. Trigger snapshots. Every destructive action requires typed confirmation — the same guard rail used in production CLI tools. Full Resource Inventory Browse volumes, private networks and subnets, firewalls with inbound/outbound rules, load balancers with target health, DNS zones, SSH keys, and Storage Box usage — all in one place. Live Monitoring CPU, disk, and network graphs per server, fleet-wide health at a glance, and cost guardrails so nothing runs unnoticed. Hetzner Status Feed See Hetzner incidents and maintenance windows inside the console, next to the servers they affect. Multi-Project Support Switch between projects and tokens fast — production, staging, and lab environments without losing your place. PRIVATE AND SAFE Read-only token onboarding is the default. Your Hetzner API token is stored on-device in the iOS Keychain and never sent anywhere but Hetzner's own API. No accounts, no cloud sync, no third-party analytics or trackers. Face ID / Touch ID app lock, guarded operation profiles, and type-to-confirm on every destructive action keep accidental taps from becoming incidents. SUBSCRIPTION Full access to the app's operator features — power actions, snapshots, and guarded write operations across your whole fleet — requires an active Hetzner Manager Pro subscription. Without a subscription the app stays in free read-only mode: fleet dashboard, live monitoring, and resource inventory. Pro is available as a monthly, quarterly, or annual plan. Your subscription is managed and billed by Apple: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and it renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage the plan or turn off auto-renewal any time in your Apple Account settings. The app never sees or stores your payment details. BUILT FOR - Self-hosters and indie operators running production on Hetzner Cloud - Sysadmins who want a mobile emergency console without giving up control - Anyone who wants their Hetzner API token to stay on their own device REQUIREMENTS - A Hetzner Cloud project and API token - iOS 18 or later, or macOS 15 or later Privacy Policy: https://hetznermanager.avunia.com/privacy Terms of Use: https://hetznermanager.avunia.com/terms Hetzner is a trademark of Hetzner Online GmbH. Verdict
The clearest difference is device support: Hetzner Manager at 3 against Port22's 1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Port22 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Hetzner Manager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
