Times tables, arcade-style! FlashTables is a math game kids actually ask to play - and it's free, with no account, no sign-up, no ads, and no pop-ups. Race the clock, earn stars, and battle up to Grand Champion. Multiplication and division. A REAL FREE VERSION The 1, 2, 5, and 10 tables are free forever, in both multiplication and division. Not a trial, not a teaser - a complete game you can play without paying anything. PRACTICE TO LEARN Practice mode is untimed and gentle - work through a table in order and learn the pattern. Miss one and FlashTables simply shows the right answer and moves on. No buzzers, no "Game Over," no stress. THEN RACE THE CLOCK Switch to Race mode and beat the 6-second clock, with a 3-2-1 stoplight countdown and old-school arcade sounds. A miss flashes red with a soft tone - never a harsh buzzer. Win 3 perfect races and the table is MASTERED: you earn a star that never disappears. WORK UP TO GRAND CHAMPION Master every table to unlock the Championship, then win it for both multiplication and division to become a Grand Champion. Mastery stars never go away - players only ever move forward. SEE EVERY TABLE A built-in learn mode lays out any times table as a full reference chart - every fact, any operation - so players can study before they race. BUILT ON HOW CHILDREN REALLY LEARN FlashTables is grounded in research on how children actually learn math facts. Real fluency comes from short bursts of fast recall, so that's exactly what the game trains - a friendly clock, instant feedback, and repetition until the answer is automatic, then locked in for good with mastery that never fades. Even the wrong answers on the tiles are deliberate: they're the specific mistakes kids really make, so every question teaches. THREE WAYS TO ANSWER Tap a multiple-choice tile, type on the number pad, or just SAY the answer out loud - on-device speech recognition, so audio never leaves the phone. CHOOSE THE TABLES YOU WANT Set the range that fits your child - practice the 1-10 tables, or go up to 1-12 for the 11s and 12s. Change it any time, and open Practice to every table whenever you like. BUILT FOR YOUR SCHOOL'S TABLES The 1-10 tables line up with what most US classrooms expect - Common Core fluency by 3rd grade. Switch to 1-12 for states that go further, like Florida and Virginia. The Championship draws from whatever range you pick. ALL YOUR CHILDREN CAN PLAY Up to 5 player profiles, each with its own progress, avatar, theme, and settings. Everyone in the family gets their own game - free. FREE PROGRESS REPORTS FOR PARENTS See exactly which facts are solid and which need work: a color-coded fluency grid, weekly practice minutes, and your child's most-missed facts. Free for every family. REMINDERS AND A PRACTICE TIMER Set daily practice reminders and FlashTables sends a friendly notification at the time you pick. There's also a built-in timer - choose 5, 10, 15 minutes or your own - with a countdown that rides along on any screen. SHARE THE WIN Turn a great result into an animated card - medals, confetti and all - and send it with a tap through the iPhone share sheet: Messages, AirDrop, Mail, anywhere. It opens on any device, with nothing to install. TRULY MULTILINGUAL Fully translated into English, Spanish, French, and Italian - including spoken-answer recognition. Switch languages instantly, no restart. MADE FOR iPHONE AND iPAD One app, with a layout built for each screen - big and comfortable on iPad, tight and fast on iPhone. PRICING The free version costs nothing and shows no ads: the 1, 2, 5, and 10 tables, full progress reports, all 8 themes, and up to 5 player profiles. One simple $2.99 unlock - no subscription, ever - opens every remaining table, the full Championship, and daily practice reminders. No accounts. We don't sell data.
Multiplings
Read full descriptionHide full description
Multiplings teaches how multiplication works, not only what the answers are. Every times table is a family with its own objects: apples, chicks, cars. Your child makes rows of them, hops along a number line, turns a tray on its side, cuts a big array into two easy parts, and shares objects out into rows. Each move is one idea about multiplication, so the game itself is the lesson. SEVEN WAYS TO PLAY - Hatch: build equal rows and count them by skipping. - Hop: make equal jumps along a number line. - Flip: turn a tray on its side. 3 x 4 is the same as 4 x 3, so there is half as much to remember. - Split: cut a hard fact into two easy ones. 7 x 8 is 5 x 8 plus 2 x 8. - Share: sort loose objects into equal rows. Division is multiplication with a number missing. - Match: bring each number to its tray. - The Wall: every fact your child learns hatches into a friendly Multipling. Together they fill the whole times table, and patterns appear. Now and then a grumpy cloud turns up holding the facts your child finds hardest, so tricky facts come back for more practice. CALM, NOT RUSHED - No timers, no lives, no leaderboards, no streaks. - No red crosses. A wrong answer gets "Not yet. Look!", the objects to look at again, and another try. - The games are played with pictures of objects, not only numbers. An optional read-aloud voice helps children who read slowly. - Pick a buddy to play with: a fox, a bunny or a dino. IN SCHOOL ORDER 27 levels cover the 2 to 10 times tables in the order US schools teach them in grade 3: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 first, then 6, 7, 8 and 9. Each level mixes the games and ends with a short test. Made for children in grades 2 and 3. NOTHING LEAVES THE DEVICE - Free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. - No account, no sign-in and no analytics. - Progress is saved on the device only, and the app works offline. Multiplings speaks English, Swedish, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Multiplings at none against FlashTables's 1. Multiplings also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
