Purus is the browser built to keep the web clean — entirely on your device. One-time setup. No account. No servers collecting your data. Just open it and browse. Accountability without surveillance. Explicit content, ads, trackers, and unsafe searches get filtered automatically — layer after layer, on every single request, with nothing logged, reported, or sent to anyone. Eight independent layers of protection work together: domain blocking, encrypted DNS filtering, keyword detection, built-in ad and tracker blocking, safe search enforcement, and more. Protection that doesn't stop at this app. Purus's DNS filtering works at the network level — so explicit domains stay blocked even if you or your kids open a different browser. It's the one layer that holds no matter where you're browsing from. Why Purus is different Real ad and tracker blocking, built in. Not a side feature — Purus blocks ads and trackers on every site you visit, the same way a dedicated ad-blocker extension would, except it's already running the moment you open the app. Eight independent filtering layers working together — not just one basic blocklist doing all the work. No servers of our own — we don't collect, see, or store what you search or browse. No account and no subscription required to use the core browser — download it and it just works. TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, X, Pinterest, and Tumblr are blocked entirely. Search filtering is enforced on YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit. Safe Search is enforced across Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Yahoo, and more. YouTube Restricted Mode is enabled automatically — zero setup required. A real browser underneath it all — clean interface, tabs, bookmarks, downloads, everything you'd expect, minus the mess. PurusAI: go beyond blocklists (optional) Blocklists can only catch what's already been reported — they can't see what's actually on a page. PurusAI adds real-time, on-device image scanning that looks at the content itself as you browse, and automatically blurs explicit images the moment they'd otherwise load — on any site, not just the ones on a curated list. It runs entirely on your device. No image, page, or result is ever sent anywhere — the same privacy commitment as the rest of Purus, extended to the newest layer of protection. PurusAI is available as an optional subscription; everything above is fully functional for free. Built for Individuals working toward freedom from pornography who want a real, private line of defense — accountability without a partner reading reports or a dashboard someone else checks, just protection that works quietly, on your terms. Parents who want to reduce what reaches their kids' devices without turning their phone into a surveillance tool — pair Purus with iOS Screen Time restrictions for full effect. Faith communities looking for a browser aligned with their values. Anyone who wants the internet to feel a little safer (and a lot faster) by default. Purus isn't trying to be everything. It's a focused, native iOS browser that filters explicit content, ads, and unsafe searches automatically — so you don't have to think about it every time you open it. No filter is perfect, and Purus doesn't claim to catch everything. What it does do: stack eight layers of protection — nine with PurusAI — so the vast majority of explicit content, intrusive ads, and unsafe searches never reach you in the first place. https://www.purusai.com/terms https://www.purusai.com/privacy

Show Browser keeps what you do on your own iPhone. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. Your history, bookmarks, downloads and per-site permissions live on this device and are never uploaded anywhere. The app sends nothing about you to us: there is no analytics library inside it, no crash reporter, no advertising, and nothing watching how you use it. WHAT YOU GET • Private tabs that keep no history, no cache and no site storage, and are never written to disk — not even when the system closes the app. • Your tabs come back. Reopen the app and the session is where you left it. Private tabs are the deliberate exception: those do not return. • Add your own shortcuts to the new tab page. Long press to remove one. • HTTPS first, with a full-screen warning when a site cannot do it — not a small icon that is easy to scroll past. • A certificate warning that never quietly accepts on your behalf. • Camera, microphone and location decided per site, reviewable and revocable. • Clear browsing data by time range. • Reader mode, find in page, and request the desktop version of a site. • Report an objectionable page from the menu; it reaches us directly. • Block any site from the menu, and manage the list in Settings. PERMISSIONS Camera, microphone and location are requested only when a site you are on asks for them, and only after you have allowed that site. The app itself never uses them. WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD Show Browser renders pages with Apple's WKWebView, as the App Store Review Guidelines require of every iOS browser. Pages therefore look and behave as they do in Safari. What differs is everything around the page: how tabs are managed, how security is surfaced, and the fact that nothing leaves your device.
