Say goodbye to muffled audio and trapped liquid with Sound & Frequency Test, the ultimate audio companion for your iPhone. Whether you need to eject water from your deviceβs speakers, test your audio equipment's performance, tune an instrument, or explore the limits of human hearing, this app delivers studio-grade accuracy with a stunning, modern dark design. Our app utilizes a custom, manually-scheduled PCM buffer loop to generate pure sine-wave tones with sample-accurate precision. Enjoy seamless frequency sweeps without pops, clicks, or distortions. KEY FEATURES: 1. AUTOMATIC WATER EJECT & SPEAKER CLEANER Accidentally dropped your phone in water? The dedicated Water Eject mode uses a scientifically proven 165 Hz frequency to vibrate the speaker diaphragm, effectively expelling trapped water and restoring crystal-clear sound quality in just 30 seconds. 2. PRECISION TONE GENERATOR Produce pure sine waves across the full spectrum of human hearing, from a deep sub-bass 20 Hz to a high-pitched treble 22,000 Hz. Adjust the frequency smoothly using the logarithmic slider or precise manual controls to suit your audio needs. 3. REAL-TIME NOTE DETECTION Curious about what musical note youβre playing? As you adjust the frequency, the app automatically calculates and displays the corresponding musical note name and octave in real-time (e.g., A4, C0). 4. ONE-TAP SOUND PRESETS Instantly jump to standard reference frequencies: β’ Water Eject (165 Hz) β Vibrate and clear your speakers. β’ Bass Test (60 Hz) β Test subwoofers and low-end responses. β’ Mid Test (1,000 Hz) β Check mid-range audio clarity. β’ Treble Test (8,000 Hz) β Check high-frequency performance. β’ Concert A (440 Hz) β Classic standard tuning pitch for musicians. 5. AMPLITUDE & VOLUME CONTROLS Fine-tune the output intensity of the generated frequencies directly in the app. Combined with visual representations of the audio waves, you maintain full control over your acoustic experience. 6. SAFETY WARNING SYSTEM & USER EDUCATION High-frequency tones can be intense. We prioritize your hearing safety by incorporating an in-app safety guide and automatic volume warnings to prevent hearing damage. PRACTICAL USE CASES: β’ Speaker Restoration: Clean your phone's speaker grill after water exposure, dust accumulation, or lint blockages. β’ Audio Equipment Testing: Check the frequency response of headphones, earbuds, home studio monitors, subwoofers, and Bluetooth speakers. β’ Instrument Tuning: Use standard reference tones like Concert A (440 Hz) to tune guitars, violins, pianos, and other instruments. β’ Sound Projects & Experiments: Ideal for acoustics study, physics demonstrations, and sound-wave analysis. β’ Hearing Assessments: Explore your personal upper and lower hearing thresholds.

Hz Lab puts mosquito tones, speaker water eject and a frequency generator into one simple tool. No ads. No subscription. The paid features are a single one-time purchase. MOSQUITO TONE Nine steps from 8,000Hz to 20,000Hz, playing the moment you tap. Every step is free. Each frequency comes with a rough guide to the age that usually still hears it, which makes it easy to compare with friends and family. HEARING CHECK Tones play from low to high and you answer "I hear it" or "I don't". You get a rough idea of where your hearing tops out. WATER EJECT For when water gets into the speaker. Pulsed low tones around 165Hz move the diaphragm far enough to help push droplets out. A countdown and waveform show you exactly how long is left. FREQUENCY GENERATOR Anything from 20Hz to 20,000Hz, by slider or by typing the number. The full range is free with a sine wave. SOLFEGGIO AND BINAURAL BEATS Solfeggio frequencies from 174Hz to 963Hz, plus binaural beats that play slightly different tones in each ear. HZ LAB PRO (one-time purchase) - Tune in 1Hz steps - Square, triangle and sawtooth waveforms - Strong and quiet water eject courses, with adjustable timing and range - Full control over binaural beats - All nine Solfeggio frequencies - Unlimited presets (the free version keeps three) - Sleep timer and background playback - Hearing check history and per-ear testing Pay once and keep it. Nothing auto-renews. WHAT WE TELL YOU UP FRONT - The iPhone's built-in speaker drops off sharply above about 16,000Hz. Use headphones for high frequencies. The app says the same thing. - Water eject does not guarantee that all water is removed, does not improve water resistance, and does not repair a water-damaged device. - The hearing check and age guidance are informational only, not a substitute for a medical hearing test. PROTECTING YOUR HEARING High tones rarely feel loud but still strain your ears. By default Hz Lab caps the volume above 15,000Hz and while headphones are connected (adjustable in Settings), and playback stops automatically if your headphones are unplugged. PRIVACY No account needed. No personal data is collected at all. No advertising or analytics SDKs. Presets and hearing check results stay on your device.
