Scripture Arcade
Read full descriptionHide full description
Scripture Arcade brings the stories of the Bible to life through six original arcade games, each one rooted in a real chapter of scripture. Play as Noah matching animal pairs before the flood rises. Launch stones as David against the Philistine giant. Navigate 7 maze laps around Jericho's walls before the great shout. Search for the lost sheep before the wolf closes in. Find the words to build the Tower of Babel and watch the languages scatter at the halfway mark. And deflect the devil's temptations as Jesus in the wilderness, watching the stone turn from sin to white each time it is cleansed. Every game has three modes. Practice to learn, Standard to earn stars, and Endless to chase your personal best. Scripture references, win screens, and story intros ground every mechanic in the text.

Find the hidden connections in Scripture. Bible Associations gives you a grid of scrambled tiles — people, places, objects, events and quotations — with groups hidden among them. Swap tiles until a row holds four that belong together, and the row locks when it does. "Pillar of Salt". "Red Stew". "Coat of Many Colours". The moment a theme reveals itself is the whole game. HOLD A ROW FOR THE SCRIPTURE Every finished row has a reason, and the reason is a verse. Hold a completed row and the passage behind it opens, in the Berean Standard Bible. These are not trivia questions written around a verse: each puzzle is generated from a knowledge graph of Scripture and verified to have exactly one solution. 530 LEVELS, AND A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY The road starts gently — levels 1 to 5 are sixteen tiles and four groups — then opens out to twenty-four tiles and six groups from level 6 onward. Alongside the levels, a fresh Daily Puzzle arrives every day, with an archive to catch up on any you missed. A few puzzles are marked spicy: harder than their neighbours, and they say so before you start. MILESTONES AND STICKERS Each section of the road ends in a hand-drawn milestone scene, and every one earns a sticker for the book. Fifty-four scenes, no two alike. A STREAK THAT FORGIVES Keep a daily streak going, with one missed day forgiven per run, because life happens. There is an optional reminder at an hour you choose, and a separate nudge if a streak is about to lapse. THE JOURNAL Write down what you noticed. The journal keeps your own notes beside the puzzles that prompted them, so a year from now you can read your way back. HINTS WHEN YOU WANT THEM Stuck on a grid? A hint reveals two tiles at random. Hints come from your satchel — The Widow's Mite, Shepherd's Pouch, Fisherman's Net, Solomon's Treasury — or from a reward ad whenever you choose to watch one. Nothing takes them from you. FREE TO PLAY Occasional ads appear between levels, and a one-time Sabbath Rest removes them forever. Reward ads for extra hints and undos stay available whenever you want them. WHO IT IS FOR If you like a daily connections puzzle and you know your Bible, this was built for the overlap. A Bible puzzle game that rewards reading rather than recall: you are not being asked to remember a date, you are being asked to notice what four things have in common. Good for five quiet minutes, for family devotions, or for a small group that likes to argue about the last row. More from The Astute Berean: Verselah, a Bible word game — guess the hidden word, find the verse. Play as a guest, or sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook to keep your progress if you change phones. Verse text is from the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain.
