The app brings together seasonal teachings, folk practice, guided resources, discussion spaces, book recommendations, calendar support, and workshops for those who want depth without dogma. The name Fàl speaks to the idea of a boundary, hedge, or enclosure: a protected space that is also a threshold. Inside the app, that spirit shapes the community. Fàl is a place for kindness, accountability, respect, curiosity, and meaningful spiritual practice. Within the app, members can explore the community in a way that suits their practice. The Hedge offers an introduction to Fàl, with selected materials from across the wider community. This gives new members a way to explore the space, experience the tone of the work, and access choice resources before moving more deeply into the app. First Footing includes a discussion board, book club, and daily energies calendar. This space supports regular connection, shared reflection, and conversation around seasonal practice, spiritual learning, books, and the rhythms of everyday life. The deeper practice area includes The Witch’s Wheel calendar, book recommendations, older folk material, guided meditations, and focused discussion spaces on subjects such as astrology, herbalism, Scottish folk practice, seasonal ritual, and related areas of spiritual work. This area is designed for those who want a more developed practice space with resources they can return to throughout the year. The teaching area brings together curated workshops and structured learning. These teachings offer guided exploration of practice, history, ritual, and spiritual craft in a way that can be revisited at your own pace. Inside Fàl, members can access: Seasonal teachings and reflections connected to the Wheel of the Year The Witch’s Wheel calendar and daily energies calendar Scottish folk practice resources, including saining, hearth work, threshold magic, plant wisdom, charms, divination, offerings, and ancestral connection Updates, resources, and teachings from That Glasgow Witch Fàl is for witches, pagans, folk practitioners, and spiritually curious people who want to build a grounded practice in their real life. Every throne deserves a ruler. Dung Chat turns the most ordinary part of your day into a kingdom worth conquering. Open the map, find the thrones around you, and claim the ones you actually visit. FOUND IT FIRST, RULE IT FOREVER The first person to claim a throne becomes its Founder. That title is permanent and nobody can take it from you. Everyone who comes after competes for Current Ruler, which changes hands every time someone new sits down. CLAIMS YOU HAVE TO EARN You cannot claim a throne from your couch. You have to be there, and you have to stay a while. A short dwell timer runs before the crown is yours, which is, if you think about it, exactly how thrones have always worked. RARITY WORTH CHASING Not all thrones are equal. A quiet find in a neighbourhood cafe scores differently from the one at the airport everybody has already found. Rarity is scored on our servers, so a high rank means something. A COURT OF YOUR OWN Add friends, follow the feed, and hear about it the moment somebody takes one of your thrones. Every kingdom needs a rival, and Dung Chat will name yours. CROWNED PROPERLY Every claim ends in a full coronation. It is the one moment in the app allowed to be extravagant. BUILT TO RESPECT WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN Location is the whole point of Dung Chat, so it is handled carefully. A home throne you founded that nobody else has claimed is kept off the public map — only you and the friends in your court can see it. Broadcasting that you are claiming right now is off by default and opt-in for a single session at a time. Ghost mode keeps you off feeds and leaderboards entirely. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app. Dung Chat is free. Bring friends.
