Tono is a pre-send communication coach. Rewrite or reply in your keyboard — Safer, Funnier, or Custom — before you send. Use the Tono app, custom keyboard (tap Coach when you want help), Share Sheet, or iMessage extension. Drafts are sent only when you ask for a rewrite. How I sound steers voice. Tono never sends a message for you, and your writing is not used for training. READ THE ASK Paste a message you received and Tono identifies the direct request, any stated deadline, and material ambiguity without inventing missing details. USE TONO WHERE YOU WRITE • Tono app: coach drafts and compare rewrites. • Custom keyboard: type normally, then explicitly tap Coach when you want online help. • Share Sheet: send selected text to Tono from another app. • iMessage extension: coach a draft inside Messages. PRIVACY AND CONTROL Tono does not passively transmit keystrokes. Draft text is sent over an encrypted connection only after you explicitly request Coach or Read the Ask. Basic keyboard typing and on-device typing assistance continue without an online coaching request. Memory and recipient preferences remain under your control in the app. PRO Pro access includes unlimited online rewrites, Read the Ask, style memory, recipient-aware coaching, and weekly communication insights. Monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions may include a 14-day free trial for eligible customers. Apple displays the current localized price and offer before purchase.
