Flummox
Read full descriptionHide full description
Flummox is a puzzle game about flipping shapes. Each puzzle gives you a few polyomino pieces and a goal for arranging them. Flip a piece over one of its edges and it tumbles across the board (as long as there is room for it to land!). Get every piece where it belongs and the puzzle is solved. That is the entire rule set. The difficulty is in the pieces getting in each other's way: the obvious first move is usually the one that strands you six moves later. WHAT'S IN IT • 30 free puzzles, ramping from easy to genuinely hard • 20 packs of 30 puzzles each — Easy, Medium, Hard and Crazy • A new free puzzle in every difficulty, every week • Game Center achievements EVERY PUZZLE IS SOLVABLE Each one was generated and then solved by machine before it shipped, so there is always a way through, and the move count shown is the shortest one known. Hints play the next optimal move. Undo steps back as far as you like and reset costs you nothing. FAIR PRICING Every pack is $0.99. There is no bundle you should have bought instead, no subscription, no energy meter, and nothing that gets more expensive the longer you play. NO STRINGS No ads. No account. No tracking — this app collects nothing whatsoever. Plays entirely offline; the only network traffic belongs to the App Store and Game Center.
