Oggy turns your iPhone or iPad into a simple speech board. Tap a button, "I want water," "All done," "I love you" and Oggy says it out loud. That's the whole idea, and it works in seconds. Or build out entire sentences by tapping word buttons. Two modes for two separate needs. It's built for parents, caregivers, and speech-language pathologists who want something fast to set up, easy to learn, and respectful of privacy — without paying the $200+ that traditional AAC apps charge. BUILD A BOARD YOUR WAY Add up to 12 buttons in the free tier — unlock unlimited buttons and a pre-built core board with a $9.99/year subscription. Each button speaks whatever phrase you choose, with the symbol of your choice: a photo from your library, a quick camera shot, or any emoji from your keyboard. Pick a color, arrange the grid the way that makes sense, and rearrange anytime with a long-press and drag. VOICES THAT FIT YOUR FAMILY Choose from the natural voices already on your device, then fine-tune speech rate and pitch with simple sliders until the cadence feels right. Preview any voice before you set it. GENUINELY PRIVATE Everything stays on the device. No accounts, no sign-up, no cloud upload, no analytics, no ads. Buttons, photos, and settings are stored locally. Oggy never phones home — what your family says is nobody else's business. PARENTAL CONTROLS BUILT IN A PIN-protected lock keeps the settings out of small hands, so taps during real conversations never rearrange the board by accident. Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID where supported, with the PIN always available as a fallback. SIMPLE, FAIR PRICING Start free with up to 12 buttons and every core feature — all the voices, full customization, and parental controls. When you're ready for more, unlock unlimited buttons and all future features for $9.99/year. That's a fraction of what traditional AAC apps charge, and it keeps Oggy free of ads and data harvesting. BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO CARES Oggy is made and maintained by a solo developer focused on making communication tools that families can actually afford. Your subscription funds ongoing updates and new features. MORE ON THE WAY Multiple boards (one per child or context — "morning routine," "at school"), predictive next words, cloud backup to move between devices, and additional voices. Every future feature is included with your subscription. MADE FOR • Parents and caregivers of nonverbal or minimally verbal children • Speech-language pathologists and AAC specialists • Adults who use AAC for any reason • Anyone who needs a fast, simple way to say prepared phrases out loud FREE VS. About

Tacit AAC

Features

Two taps to be understood. Tacit is for people who cannot rely on speech. Type or tap what you need to say, then hold your phone up so the person in front of you can read it — or let your phone say it out loud. No setup. No sign-up. No learning a system of symbols. SHOW IT, LARGE Write a sentence and put the keyboard away. The words grow to fill the screen, big enough to read across a counter, a hospital bed, or a noisy room. Turn the phone around and you have been understood. OR SPEAK IT One tap reads your sentence aloud in a natural voice. Choose the voice you want and how fast it speaks. It works with the ring switch off, so you are heard even on silent. READY FOR WHERE YOU ARE Six situations — restaurant, medical, travel, transport, shopping and emergency — each holding the phrases that place actually needs. Tap the situation, tap the phrase. Edit any of them, or build situations of your own for the places you go. THE THINGS A GESTURE CANNOT SAY A row of everyday icons along the bottom of the home screen: water, a restroom, a charger, a pharmacy, a taxi. One tap shows the icon large with the sentence underneath, ready to speak. MY CARD Your name, conditions, allergies, medications and emergency contacts on one card you can hold up without typing anything. Useful in a waiting room, at a pharmacy counter, or any moment when explaining is the hard part. ACROSS LANGUAGES Show the same sentence in another language, large and clear. Useful abroad, and useful at home when the person in front of you speaks a different one. HELP FINDING THE WORDS Rough notes become a complete sentence. Type "water please" and get "Could I have some water, please?" On iPhone 15 Pro and newer this runs on the device itself. Everywhere else it uses a private connection — and if there is no connection at all, Tacit falls back to built-in phrases so you are never left with nothing. PLAN A DAY Describe what your day looks like and Tacit suggests the phrases it will need, ready before you are standing there. BUILT TO BE TRUSTED Your saved phrases, your name and photo, and everything on My Card stay on your phone. What you send to be reworded or translated is not kept — not by us, and not by the company whose model does the work. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, nothing sold. WHO IT IS FOR People living with ALS, aphasia, a stroke, Parkinson's, autism, selective mutism, a laryngectomy, or a throat injury. People recovering from surgery. Anyone whose voice has gone quiet, for a week or for good. SUBSCRIPTION Tacit is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, and starts with a free trial. Every feature is included in both plans — there is no cut-down version. Cancel any time in Settings. Privacy policy: https://tacitaac.vercel.app/privacy Support: https://tacitaac.vercel.app/support
