Burd β€” Birding made simple. Point your camera at a bird and identify it without having to take a photo first. Burd is a bird identification app we built because the birding apps we were using felt like they were missing something. Our live ID works in real time, so you can pan around and identify a species the moment you spot something. Prefer to go by ear? Sound ID listens for calls and songs and tells you who's singing. Use both live Photo & Sound ID at the same time to get even more accurate results. While you're out in the field, Burd saves your photos to your journal as drafts so you can identify everything once connection is restored. No need to log GPS coordinates or field notes on the spot. Just enjoy the moment, and fill in the details later if you want to. Every bird you spot gets a home in your journal. Keep it private, or share it. Post sightings for the world to see, or keep things cozy and share with friends only. As you log more species, you'll earn badges and unlock species cards for your collection, a fun way to track your progress as a birder. Whether you're a lifelong birder or just curious about the bird outside your window, Burd makes identifying and remembering birds easy. Features: Live Camera ID, no need to take a photo Sound ID for calls and songs Simple journaling, log whatever details you want Public or friends-only profile sharing Collectible badges and species cards Terms of Use: https://burdapp.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://burdapp.com/privacy

Postcode Check

Features

Moving house? Or just want to get the lowdown on a neighborhood you’re eyeing? Postcode Check acts like your personal British postcode detective. Just enter a code to get the full picture-from crime rates and schools to property prices and internet speeds. It’s all based on official sources-no magic involved. Here’s what the app shows instantly: Crime - stats and locations, plus trends over the last two years. Schools - Ofsted ratings, distance, and actual chances of getting a place based on catchment areas. NHS - nearest GP, new patient availability, and A&E waiting times. Housing prices - up-to-date Land Registry data, including averages by area and property type. Internet & connectivity - Full Fibre availability and speeds, plus 5G coverage. Environment - flood risk and air quality (yes, we have that data too). Council Tax - how much you’ll pay and how it compares to the neighborhood average. Demographics - age, household composition, and deprivation indices. What you can do: Compare two or three postcodes side-by-side to see which comes out on top in each category. Save your favorite areas and add personal notes (e.g., "great park here," "close to Mum"). Manage your moving checklist-keep everything in one place so nothing gets forgotten. We don’t label neighborhoods as "good" or "bad." We simply present the facts-you draw your own conclusions.
