GROL Prep

GROL Prep helps you earn the FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License by preparing you for both written elements: Element 1, basic radio law and operating practice, and Element 3, general radiotelephone theory and technique. Most exam apps teach you to memorize answer letters. GROL Prep is built around understanding. Every question includes: PRINCIPLE. The underlying rule or concept the question is really testing, stated plainly before you dive into the details. WORKING THROUGH IT. Why the correct answer is right and why each distractor is wrong, including the tempting ones. GOING DEEPER. A connection to real world radio, maritime, and avionics work, so the knowledge sticks beyond test day. BUILT IN GLOSSARY. Roughly 700 technical terms are tappable right inside questions and explanations. See an unfamiliar term, tap it, get a plain language definition, and keep studying without losing your place. AI TUTOR. Stuck on a question? Ask the built in tutor. It knows the question you are looking at and explains the concept behind it, like having an instructor on call. PRACTICE YOUR WAY. Browse the question pools by topic, or run quiz sessions with scoring against the real 75 percent passing threshold so you always know where you stand. Question content is drawn from the official FCC Commercial Operator Element 1 and Element 3 question pools. Explanations and glossary definitions were written for this app and reference 47 CFR Part 13, Part 80, and Part 87 where applicable. Built by a USAF veteran, FAA A&P instructor, and credentialed CTE educator with a B.S. in Avionics. GROL Prep is a study aid. The General Radiotelephone Operator License is issued by the FCC, and exams are administered by FCC approved Commercial Operator License Examination Managers (COLEMs). The app does not guarantee exam passage.

Wordaboo teaches a language the way you would actually learn one: a few minutes at a time, with pictures instead of translations, and every word spoken aloud. TWENTY COURSES, EVERY ONE TO B2 • French, for English speakers — 166 lessons • German, for English speakers • Spanish, for English speakers • English, for French speakers • English, for Russian speakers • English, for Spanish speakers • English, for Portuguese speakers • English, for Uzbek speakers • English, for Turkish speakers • English, for Indonesian speakers • English, for Hindi speakers • German, for Spanish speakers • German, for Russian speakers • Spanish, for French speakers • French, for Spanish speakers • French, for Russian speakers • Italian, for English speakers • Portuguese (Brazil), for English speakers • Russian, for English speakers • Japanese, for English speakers — in kana, every word and sentence with its rōmaji 2,818 lessons and 17,837 spoken words and phrases. The whole interface follows your language, not just the lessons — nine languages, Hindi included. CHAPTERS THAT MEAN SOMETHING Lessons are grouped into chapters mapped to the A1–B2 scale schools use, so you can see what you have covered and what comes next. Levels describe what each chapter teaches. They are not a certificate, and we never pretend otherwise. FOUR MINUTES A LESSON Short enough to finish on a bus. You pick a daily goal — 20, 30, 50 or 100 XP — and change it whenever it stops fitting your week. IT BRINGS BACK WHAT YOU FORGET Mixed review pulls questions from everything you have finished. Trouble words collects the ones that keep catching you out and drills those instead. Practice rounds earn XP and count toward your goal, but cannot be failed. LEARN WITH PEOPLE, WITHOUT THE NOISE Follow friends by request and share a streak. A weekly league puts you with up to twenty learners for seven days and ranks you by the XP you earn in them. There is no messaging in Wordaboo — you can block or report anyone from their profile, and Friends is off until you turn it on. BUILT TO BE HONEST · Delete your account from inside the app, with 14 days to change your mind · Speaking exercises are optional, and so is the microphone · Your progress lives in your account, and signing out clears the device WORDABOO PREMIUM An optional subscription: no ads, unlimited hearts and bubbles, and lessons you can take offline.
