Kindread recommends books that share a soul. Tell us a book you loved – Kindread finds titles that feel kindred in mood, theme, and style. Almost always by other authors, far from the usual “more by the same author” lists. And for every recommendation, you’ll see why it fits your book. Spoiler-free, promise: a reason reveals a book’s soul, never its story. REAL BOOKS, NO GUESSING The AI has a nose for stories; a bookseller’s catalog keeps an eye on the facts. Kindread only recommends books that truly exist – never invented titles. WHAT ARE YOU IN THE MOOD FOR? Something comforting, magical, dark, or clever? Search by how you feel, discover the theme of the day – or dare a blind date with a book. YOUR SHELF IS ALIVE Your to-be-read pile has a say, your reading year quietly grows along – and when you finish a book, it isn’t a checkbox but a little moment. YOUR READER’S MAP OF THE WORLD With every book you read, your world grows: countries turn gold, and the blank spots are happy to recommend your next book. BOOKSTORES NEAR YOU Kindread shows you the bookstores around you – because your next favorite book may already be waiting in a window around the corner. BRING YOUR BOOKS ALONG Import your library from Goodreads or StoryGraph in minutes – and take it with you as a file whenever you like. It’s yours. SCAN A COVER A barcode or a photo is enough: Kindread recognizes the book and finds its kindred spirits. PRIVACY No account, no sign-up, no ads. Kindread only processes what’s needed for your recommendations. Your reading world stays yours. WHAT MAKES A BOOKSTORE SPECIAL Some have wooden floors that creak. Others smell of paper. And a few have a cat. At Kindread, her name is Sadie. The shop window is her favorite spot – she sleeps there at night and stretches there in the morning. Sometimes she sits in front of an empty shelf and waits for the first book with you. For her, it’s enough that you’re there. Kindread is for everyone who closes their last favorite book already looking for the next.

About

Linea Reader

Linea is a calm reading workspace for difficult material. Import PDFs, EPUBs, MOBI files, DOCX documents, Markdown, images, scans, and web pages. Read with thoughtful typography, highlight and annotate passages, listen from your current position, and ask questions without losing your place. Your library stays organized around the work in front of you. Resume where you stopped, move between chapters, and keep your reading progress together. Features: • Import documents and URLs • Read PDFs, ebooks, Markdown, and more • Highlight passages and add notes • Listen from your current reading position • Ask document-aware questions while reading or listening • Keep reading progress and annotations together • Choose from four reading palettes AI and your data: Linea uses AI only when you ask it to. It does not run your documents through AI in the background. Eligible signed-in Linea accounts can use Linea's rate-limited managed Ask without a personal API key: the question and relevant document context are processed by Linea, which may call an upstream model. For a user-owned cloud provider, Linea sends your question and relevant document context directly from your device to that provider using the API key you supplied; Linea's developer does not receive those direct-to-provider requests. When available and selected, on-device Apple Intelligence requests stay on your device. Linea is built for sustained attention: fewer distractions, better context, and a clear path back to the thread.
