About

Folego

Features

Fôlego reads the VO2 Max your Apple Watch already estimates automatically — during outdoor walks, runs, or hikes — and shows your cardiorespiratory fitness band on your watch and on your iPhone, in a half-circle gauge that shares the same visual language as the native UV Index and Air Quality complications. HOW IT WORKS No sign-up, no login, nothing to type in. Fôlego reads VO2 Max, date of birth, and biological sex from the Health app and automatically calculates which of 6 bands (from Very low to Superior) your cardio fitness falls into, using the same reference standard as the American College of Sports Medicine guidelines. On iPhone, it also reads your outdoor workouts and walking and running distance, only to show where each reading came from. ON YOUR IPHONE • Summary: the gauge with your band, your band in detail (its limits and how far the next one is), your cardio fitness age, and a badge that tells you when the watch confirmed it received your data • History: 1M, 6M, 1Y and All periods, a chart over your own bands and, when a reading came from an outdoor workout, that workout • Watch: the sync status, "Send now", and how to add the complications to your watch face • Widgets on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen, in light, dark and tinted modes • Siri: ask "What's my VO2 Max in Fôlego?" and hear the value, the date and, when there is one, the band • A notification when a new reading arrives and a reminder when the last one goes out of date ON YOUR WATCH • A Summary screen with the gauge and your current band; tap the band to see its limits • Complications for analog and digital watch faces (Modular, Infograph, Compass, and more), across circular, corner, rectangular, and inline families • The complication tells the Smart Stack when it is relevant: after a new reading and when the reading goes out of date • Updates on its own whenever Health logs a new estimate PRIVACY Health access is read-only — Fôlego never writes or modifies anything. There's no account or Fôlego-operated backend: data is processed on your own devices, and notifications are generated on your iPhone itself. No analytics, no tracking, no ads. Requires an iPhone with iOS 17 or later and Apple Watch Series 4 or later, any Apple Watch SE, or any Apple Watch Ultra, running watchOS 10 or later. Displaying values requires at least one VO2 Max estimate already recorded in Health. The first estimate may require 24 hours of Apple Watch wear and several outdoor workouts.
