Your custody record, organized. CustodyBook is a one-sided log for separated parents: custody days, exchanges, shared expenses and notes — dated, factual, and exportable as a clean monthly PDF you can print or share with your lawyer. Court-ready PDFs: every entry dated, with edit history and a SHA-256 fingerprint you can verify at getcustodybook.com/verify. The judge decides what is admitted. Not legal advice. MESSAGES FROM A CHAT Turn a screen recording of a chat into a readable list in your log — you review who said what before saving. It is read on your phone; nothing is uploaded. Messages appear in your timeline and in your monthly and date-range PDF reports. WHY ONE-SIDED MATTERS The big co-parenting platforms charge $100-300 per parent per year and require both parents to join. Your RECORD doesn't need their account: it needs dates, facts and math. • Copy the month summary as plain text — ready for WhatsApp or your lawyer. • Custody days and exchanges logged in seconds. • Expenses in exact cents with a configurable split — the app tells you who owes whom, to the penny. • Monthly PDF report in a neutral, factual tone your lawyer will appreciate. • No chat with the other parent, no accounts, no server: we never receive a copy of your entries, and there is nothing to pay monthly. WHEN THE OTHER PARENT OWES YOU FOR EXTRAS • Mark the date you asked the other parent for their share of a medical bill, school fee or activity. The monthly report shows every unreimbursed extra, how much, and how long it has been waiting. • Add the time and place of each exchange or custody day - folded away, so a normal entry still takes seconds. • The app warns you when entries are not backed up yet, so a lost or broken phone doesn't have to mean a lost record. NEW IN 1.8 • Log each exchange as on time, late or no-show — for either parent — and see the monthly counts and minutes late in Reports. • See the nights with each parent, with percentages, counted from the days you have logged. • Create a PDF for any date range: a one-page summary for both parents first, then every entry in date order. • A gentle backup reminder on Today, plus "Contact us" in Settings for questions and ideas. TRY IT FREE, THEN PAY ONCE Unlimited entries, summaries and reports. Use everything free for 7 days, then a single one-time purchase keeps it yours for life — no ads, no login, no subscription, no monthly fee. CustodyBook records information you enter; it does not provide legal advice.
