Most budget apps track the past. O manages what's left. Create a budget โ for a trip, a vacation, or until payday. Keep it short: a few weeks works best. Set the name, dates and total, and O divides it into a daily amount. From that moment one number answers the only question that matters: how much can I spend today? Log expenses in seconds Three ways to add an expense: for today, for selected days, or spread across the rest of the period. Rent for two weeks? Split it โ O deducts a share from each of those days. A coffee? Full amount, today. Add a note, save frequent ones as tags โ and daily entry becomes a three-tap habit. Overspent? The budget adapts This is what O is built for. Spent more than today's number? Close the day and send the difference forward โ spread evenly across remaining days or onto dates you pick. Tomorrow starts with an honest new amount. Saved instead? Your leftover rolls forward the same way. No guilt, no broken budget โ just recalculation. Closed days stay closed Once you close a day, its expenses lock โ nothing in your history can quietly change. Need to fix a mistake in an open day? Edit or cancel any expense: O records the difference as a separate operation, so every number on screen can be traced back to what caused it. Adjust as life happens Found extra cash? Add it to a single day's limit. Got a bigger budget mid-trip? Raise the total โ the difference spreads evenly across the days left. Every change is visible, nothing is silent. Finish with the full picture When the last day closes, the budget completes and shows its statistics: a day-by-day chart of what remained, total spent, your biggest expense, your daily average โ and the final result, under or over. Yours, offline, once Works fully offline: no bank connections, no accounts, no sync. Your data stays on your device. A one-time Lifetime purchase is optional: pay once, skip the future subscription, and get all upcoming online features โ shared budgets, sync across devices โ included forever. O is made for short budgets: trips, vacations, payday to payday. For anyone who wants to spend without anxiety โ and know, every single day, exactly where they stand. O helps build spending discipline without the spreadsheet โ one number a day is all it takes. Just start.

Budget Left is a simple expense tracker that shows how much of your budget remains. Enter what you spend and see your remaining amount, days left and daily spending guide on one screen. WHY BUDGET LEFT โข One active budget: set an amount, a month or custom dates, and a currency. โข Quick expense entry on the home screen, with optional notes. โข Remaining amount, inclusive days left and a daily guide. โข Edit or delete entries and record refunds in History. โข Keep previous budgets when you start the next one. โข Eight currencies: JPY, USD, EUR, KRW, CNY, GBP, CAD and AUD. One currency per budget; no conversion. โข Ten interface languages and system dark mode. โข No account required; expense recording works offline. The app is free and uses one small home-screen banner. Advertising is hidden while typing or editing. Privacy choices, when required, are available in Settings. Consent or network failures do not prevent recording expenses. The remaining amount is based only on entries you record. It is not your bank balance or a guarantee that you can spend it. Refunds restore your budget; they are not income tracking. Periods do not renew or carry over automatically. Data is saved on your device. OS backups and device transfer may include it, but restoration is not guaranteed. Deleting the app may delete your data. There is no account or cloud restore service.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Budget Left at none against Oxpense's 1. Budget Left also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). Oxpense's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
