No ads. Everything in the game is free for everyone; tipping the developer is optional and unlocks nothing. No data collection. Works without internet โ€” on a plane, in the car, at the cottage. Flagomir is a kind quiz about the flags and cities of the world. For the whole family: from about seven, and for grown-ups who want to test themselves. WHY IT IS SAFE HERE โ€ข No advertising. None at all. Nothing for a child to tap by accident โ€ข Everything in the game is free and open to everyone. Tips for the developer live only on the parents' screen, behind a question for adults, and they unlock or change nothing in the game โ€ข No sign-up, no data collection. Progress stays on the device and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud. We never see it โ€ข Works offline: every flag, country and city lives inside the app NOBODY LOSES HERE A mistake takes nothing away. After a wrong answer the game shows the right answer and where the country is on the map โ€” and tells a verified fact. We gathered the facts from sources and checked them; there are more than a thousand of them. The child did not "lose", the child learned something. That is the difference. WHAT IS INSIDE โ€ข 195 countries and 3059 cities โ€ข Six languages: Russian, English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese โ€” the game picks the right one โ€ข Read aloud: the country name is spoken out loud โ€ข 15 game modes and 21 heroes, 11 of them to unlock โ€ข 54 Game Center achievements โ€ข Flag of the Day โ€” on the game's home screen and in a widget HOW YOU PLAY Fifteen modes, and they do not all open at once. Flags first. Learn ten and the capitals open. Learn twenty-five capitals and the cities open. Then the map, the speed round, two players on one phone, and three games where countries are sorted with a finger: flags onto masts, capitals into suitcases, postcards into letterboxes. Plus flag memory, a continent exam with an achievement, a quiz for Mum and Dad โ€” and your own flag, which you design yourself. Every day there is a new Flag of the Day: it turns up as a question in a Flags round until you guess it. The game never dumps everything at once, and there is always a next goal. HOW IT TEACHES A country counts as learned after three correct answers, not after one lucky guess. What fades comes back on its own: get it wrong and the country returns in the next Review, asking exactly what you missed โ€” the flag, the capital, a city or the place on the map; get it right and it returns in a day, then in three days, a week, two weeks and a month. This is spaced repetition, the same method behind grown-up memory trainers. What is learned is never lost. A mistake brings the country back for review but never removes it from the count. FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY Up to eight people can play on one phone โ€” each with their own score and their own learned countries. There is a family leaderboard and a world one through Game Center. With iCloud on, progress comes back after reinstalling and is shared across iPhone and iPad with the same Apple ID. A separate screen for parents: how much was learned this week, where the child slips most often, how the points work. WHO IT IS FOR From about seven โ€” big buttons, short questions, friendly words instead of "Wrong!". Grown-ups โ€” a hard level with all 195 countries and cities not everyone knows. All characters in the game are fictional; any resemblance is coincidental. Made by Lev.
