Egg Timer vs Puntio

Soft, jammy, or hard — get your eggs exactly right, every single time. Pick how you like your yolk (shown as real egg cross-sections), drop your eggs into boiling water and hit Start. Egg Timer alerts you the second they're done — even if your phone is locked or the app is closed. WHY EGG TIMER • 3 doneness levels, shown visually — pick with your eyes, not with numbers • Smart timing: adjusts to egg size (S–XL) and fridge-cold vs room-temp eggs • An alarm you can trust — fires on time even with the app closed • Live countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island • A charming pot that bubbles more as your eggs get closer to done • +1 minute button for extra-firm fans • Built-in pro tip: a 60-second ice bath makes the shell slide right off PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads. No account. No tracking. No internet needed — everything runs on your device and the app collects zero data. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, meal prep, ramen eggs, egg salads — and everyone who has ever chased "6 minutes" around the kitchen with a phone stopwatch. Made by a solo developer — if Egg Timer nails your eggs, a rating helps more than you know.

Puntio – Smart Cooking Timer Never guess a cooking time again. Puntio breaks every dish down into clear, timed steps — so you always know what's happening and what comes next. GUIDED STEPS, NOT JUST A COUNTDOWN Most timers just count down. Puntio shows you the actual steps along the way — "sear the tomato paste," "add the meat," "let it simmer" — each with its own timing, right when you need it. COOK MULTIPLE THINGS AT ONCE Making pasta with sauce? Run separate timers side by side and never lose track of what's cooking where. SMART TIMER Just type in a dish — "Spaghetti Bolognese," "Soft-Boiled Egg," "Pan-Seared Steak" — and Puntio generates a ready-to-use timer with realistic steps and timings. Fully editable, so you can adjust it to your own recipe. BUILT FOR THE KITCHEN Clean, distraction-free design Curated preset library for everyday dishes Multiple parallel timers Step-by-step guidance for every dish PUNTIO PRO Unlock the Smart Timer without limits, save your own presets, and run as many timers in parallel as your recipe needs. Puntio isn't a recipe app — it's a timing assistant. You bring the recipe, Puntio brings the timing. Privacy Policy: https://www.puntio.app/privacy Terms of Service: https://www.puntio.app/terms
