Ridgits Matchmaking App vs Kawaii Timer

Stop wasting time on people who were never going to fit. Ridgits is personality-based matching for adults looking for meaningful relationships or friendships. Instead of endless swiping, you answer thoughtful questions about how you connect, what matters to you, and what you need from the people in your life. Your answers power real compatibility scores—and your unique Ridgits Archetype. FIND YOUR PEOPLE • Take the Archetype Quiz (~50 questions, ~10–20 minutes) • Discover one of 8 personality archetypes with personalized insights • See how you score across key dimensions: communication, values, social style, and more • Match nationwide—and nearby with a membership—based on compatibility, not just proximity MATCH THE WAY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS Ridgits uses an OkCupid-style approach: you answer honestly, set what you’re looking for in a match, and mark what truly matters. Dealbreakers count. Compatibility counts. Vibes alone don’t. • Browse matches with compatibility percentages • Poke someone when you’re interested • Compare profiles using profile codes • Use Quick Tools for compatibility readouts, message analysis, and more GO BEYOND THE BASICS • Ridgits — Create custom mini-quizzes that reveal your socials only to people who pass • Additional Archetype packs — Go deeper into attraction, boundaries, love language, and more • Community insights — See how your archetype compares to the Ridgits community • Optional nearby alerts when another Ridgits member is close BUILT ON REAL PSYCHOLOGY The Ridgits quiz draws on established ideas in connection and relationship research, including attachment patterns, communication styles, value alignment, and how people express affection. WHO RIDGITS IS FOR Adults 21+ who want something more intentional than swipe culture; whether you’re dating, making friends, or just trying to meet people who actually get you. MEMBERSHIP Ridgits is free to join and take the quiz. Optional Ridgits+, Premium, and Ultra memberships unlock nearby matching, more Ridgits, and other features. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. ■ The "fun timer" you didn't know you needed Meet Miu Tokimachi — a 3D anime girl who thinks waiting shouldn't be boring. Tap start and she's on it. While you wait, she sways, yawns, and (if you leave her alone long enough) straight-up falls asleep. Relatable. Then comes the good part. The last 10 seconds, counted down out loud: "Juuu... kyuuu... Ta-dah! Time's up!" Yes, she counts in Japanese. No, we're not translating it. That's the charm. Some days she drags out the count just to tease you. Some days she's dead precise. Which Miu do you get today? Spin the wheel. ■ One girl, three timers - Kitchen Timer Ramen, boiled eggs, pasta, tea — presets included. Your usual 3-minute cup noodle wait is now quality time. Pro tip: set the alarm to the "charumera" — the legendary horn of Japanese ramen carts. - Pomodoro 25 minutes focus, 5 minutes break, looped automatically. A nostalgic Japanese school chime rings between rounds. Miu keeps quiet while you grind (she gets it), then naps with you on breaks. - Versus Timer Chess, TCGs, werewolf, board games — play-time presets with voice alerts at 10 and 5 minutes left. Finish your turn. ■ About Miu Miu Tokimachi. A little sassy, mostly sleepy, surprisingly supportive. Her family name literally means "waiting for time" — she was born for this job. She's on the other side of the screen, waiting with you. ■ Gal Miu exists (optional) One in-app purchase turns her into a tanned, pink-haired gal — different vibe, same Miu. You might see a side of her you weren't ready for. --- (okay, the serious part) --- FEATURES - 3 timer modes, each remembers its own settings - Voice countdown for the last 10 seconds (2 random styles) - Voice alerts at 10 / 5 / 3 minutes left and halfway (varies by mode) - Alarm sounds: beep / school chime / ramen horn (or silence, you monster) - Local notification when time's up, even with the app in the background - Power-save mode dims the screen when idle (Miu naps, your battery thanks her) - BGM included, on/off remembered per mode - Backgrounds shift with the time of day - UI in English & Japanese (voice is Japanese only) PRICING - Free. Every timer feature is free. - Exactly one in-app purchase (the Gal look). Zero ads. PEACE OF MIND - Fully offline. No account. No data collected. Nothing to worry about. NOTES - Portrait only. - This app makes sound. That is, in fact, the whole point.
