Generations Legacy vs MindGlitter

Generations is a guided family legacy journal that helps you capture the stories, life lessons, and traditions that define your family — before they fade. Built for the generation caring for aging parents while raising their own children, Generations turns scattered, fleeting memories into a permanent, searchable archive you can pass down for years to come. A DAILY PROMPT, NOT A BLANK PAGE Each day brings one meaningful question — "What was your first job?", "What would you tell your younger self?" — so starting is effortless and you keep coming back. THE LEGACY JOURNAL Every memory lands in a beautiful, chronological timeline. Search by name or keyword and filter by theme or family member. THEMED COLLECTIONS Group stories into Traditions, Lessons, Career, Hardship, and more — the silos that matter to your family. THE FAMILY TAPESTRY See every voice in your family and exactly how complete their story is — theme breadth, key scenes, life eras, and depth — with the gaps to fill next. A VOICE FOR EVERYONE Add profiles for parents, grandparents, and children, and link each memory to the people who lived it. GENERATIONS PRO (optional subscription) The first 10 stories and 2 collections are always free. MindGlitter is a calm, science-first regulation tool for neurodivergent brains. When hyperfocus takes over, your body turns down its cues for hunger, thirst and rest — and hours later the crash hits. MindGlitter is the external nudge your brain isn't giving you. THE REGULATION RESERVE Three gentle channels — hydration, fuel and rest — fold into one simple reserve that shows when you're steady and when it's time to top up, before a spiral starts. It's an estimate from what you log, never a medical measurement. THE 3-BIN SNACK METHOD Pick one protein, one carb and one healthy fat to steady your energy without the decision fatigue. STATIONS & MAINTENANCE Set up hydration and snack stations, then keep them stocked with simple restock reminders — so the fuel is already there before you need it. VOICE NUDGES IN YOUR OWN VOICE Record calm spoken reminders that cut through hyperfocus where buzzers get ignored. LOW-SENSORY BY DESIGN Soft colors, slow motion and plain language. Nothing ever reads as alarm.
