Reflect Open

Reflect Open is a local-first note-taking app for daily notes, linked thinking, and private AI over your own files. Start each day in a daily note, capture meetings, ideas, tasks, and journal entries, then connect people and projects with wiki-style links. Reflect builds a personal graph from ordinary Markdown files, with fast search, backlinks, and optional semantic search that runs on-device. Your notes stay yours. Reflect has no account, no telemetry, and no Reflect-hosted cloud service. Notes are stored as plain Markdown in a folder you choose, with a rebuildable local SQLite index beside them. Optional AI chat, transcription, and sync features only run when you connect your own provider or storage, and private notes are blocked from external AI calls. Highlights: - Daily notes first, with quick capture into today. - Wiki links and backlinks instead of folders. - Full-text search and optional on-device semantic search. - Optional bring-your-own-key AI chat over your notes. - Audio memos with optional BYOK transcription. - iCloud Drive or Git-based sync using files you own. - Markdown source of truth for long-term portability. - Keyboard-native, minimal interface built for focus. Loops

I think a lot. You probably do too. Loops is a notebook to help you think. It won't answer, remind you, or connect things. It holds your reasoning until you come back. Writing something feels like learning it. The friction is the point. THE COLD OPEN Come back to a Loop you've left alone for a week or more and the composer is withheld. You get the day count, the last thing you wrote, and your open prediction with three answers: it held, it didn't, still open. Only then do you get to write. CARRY ONE WITH YOU Put a question in your pocket and it moves to your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island for as long as you're chewing on it. When the answer turns up on a walk or in the shower, tap it and you're writing before the thought is gone. THINGS DIE Every Loop shows how cold it is and fades as it goes. Untouched for sixty days and it archives itself. If it mattered, open it again. YOUR REASONING CAN LEAVE Copy any loop out as Markdown โ the question, why it mattered, the whole trail, every prediction and how it turned out. Straight into any notes app, or as a file. WHAT IT DELIBERATELY WON'T DO No AI. No suggested connections. No daily review. No streaks. No notifications. No account, no sync, no analytics. Totally FREE.
