Chess Call
Read full descriptionHide full description
ChessCall is the easy way to play chess with the people you already know. It works like a chat app: pick a contact, send them a link, and once they join you play a real game of chess while messaging back and forth with text and voice. CHALLENGE YOUR CONTACTS Start a chat with anyone in your contacts and challenge them to chess. They tap your invite link and you're playing, no usernames, no sign-ups, just your Apple devices and iCloud. A REAL GAME, WITH A CLOCK Full chess rules, castling, en passant, promotion, check and checkmate, plus a proper chess clock. Choose 3, 5, or 10 minutes, or play with no clock at all. CHAT WHILE YOU PLAY Send text and voice messages right inside the game. Voice notes can play automatically so you never miss a word, and you can turn that off whenever you like. YOUR PRIVATE RIVALRIES There's no global leaderboard. Instead, ChessCall quietly keeps the head-to-head score between you and each contact, so you always know who's ahead. PRACTICE ANY TIME No one around to play? Practice offline against the built-in opponent and set the strength anywhere from beginner to expert. ON YOUR WRIST ChessCall runs on Apple Watch too. Play a full multiplayer or practice game right on the watch, no iPhone needed. And when it is your move in a real game, the watch shows the board so you can answer from your wrist with or without the iphone near by. WORKS EVERYWHERE A universal app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Your games sync through your own iCloud. PRIVATE BY DESIGN ChessCall has no servers of its own. Your games and messages live in your iCloud and are shared only with the people you play. No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Requires an iCloud account. Playing with others requires each player to have ChessCall and be signed into iCloud.

Soar is a momentum flying game built for Apple Watch. Dive into a slope to build speed, launch off the crest, and glide as far as the air will carry you. Every hill is a chance to go faster. HOW TO PLAY Hold to dive, release to fly. Time each dive so you meet the downslope at full speed and a clean landing slingshots you onward. Miss the line and you sink. Easy to pick up in a second, hard to put down. ALWAYS SOMETHING TO UNLOCK Soar is built around steady progress. Every run pushes a challenge forward, and finishing challenges opens the next area, the next biome, another of more than 130 birds, a new track for the soundtrack. Start in the Sunset Fields, then climb through the clouds toward Space or dig down past the Underground to the Core. Seventeen biomes, each with its own art, music and handling, and a new goal waiting the moment you land. THREE MODES • ADVENTURE: work through the world, one area at a time • ENDLESS: no limits, just distance, chasing your own best • RANKED: compete on the leaderboards Plus a Daily Flight every day with a fresh run and a morning reminder. A REAL IPHONE APP The companion is not a settings screen. Soar plays full screen on iPhone too, so you can play the whole game on your phone, follow your stats and listen to all 17 soundtrack pieces. Twelve food birds, from Pizza to Honey Cake, can only be earned by flying on iPhone, each with its own mission. EARN YOUR WATCH FACE Every biome you unlock also unlocks its artwork as a watch face complication. Seventeen in total, all earned by playing. MORE • PLAYS OFFLINE: no wifi, no account, no sign in, ever • ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK: 17 tracks composed for the game • Built for the Digital Crown and the small screen, one hand, any moment FREE TO PLAY The Sunset Fields and the Desert are yours from the start, along with your first hop up to the Clouds and your first drop to the Underground. Play as long as you like without paying anything. CROWN GAMES ROYAL PASS Full game unlocked. The Royal Pass lifts the free tier limit and opens the whole world to you, every biome, every bird, every watch face artwork and every soundtrack piece. You still earn each one by flying, exactly as the game intends. The pass removes the wall, not the climb. One subscription covers every Crown game. It unlocks the full version of every other Crown Games title you own, and every game we release from here on. Subscribe once in any of our games and it carries across to the rest automatically, with nothing to sign in to and no account to create.
