VOLTFIELD is a neon arcade game about taking ground back, made in the spirit of the old classics Qix and Volfied. You fly a small ship along the edge of a grid. Swipe to turn. The ship never stops. Leave the safe edge and you draw a live wire behind you. Close the loop, and everything you cut off is yours. Enemies hunt your wire. One touch and the run is over. Claim enough and the exit gate opens. Leave, or keep carving for more stars. The enemies get angrier the deeper you cut. THE GRID • 100 handmade levels across 10 sectors • Burning walls, moving fire bars, rotors, arc gates, and currents that push your ship • 10 boss fights against the Wardens, each in its own arena • Boosters: homing bolt, pulse bomb, mines, ghost wire, breaker, overdrive DAILY VOLT • One new field every day, the same for every player • 3 attempts. Carve as much as you can, every percent counts • Share your result and challenge friends on Game Center leaderboards All graphics, sound and music are generated by code. No ads.

■ It looks like a terminal. That's the point. Black screen. Neon green text. System logs scrolling forever. CPU load and memory pressure climbing. To anyone glancing over your shoulder on the train, you are debugging a complex production system. What you are actually doing is connecting three or more matching symbols. ■ How it plays You are an incident response engineer covering 16 data centers around the world. - Pick a degraded node on the world map - Travel there (the farther it is, the longer it takes) - Patch the bugs on site (that's the puzzle) - Earn experience and move to the next incident (credits arrive on promotion) Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Frankfurt, Sao Paulo, Cape Town and more. Travel time is derived from real geographic distance, so crossing the planet actually costs you time. ■ Three numbers are trying to kill you While you work, three resources keep rising: - CPU — above 72% sectors of the board freeze and become unusable - MEM — clearing five or more at once brings it down hard. Small clears barely dent it - TRACE — accelerates the higher CPU and MEM get. This is your real timer If any of them hits 100%, the session is lost. Clearing three at a time will never outrun the load. You have to build bigger COMBOs, and land them fast enough to hold the CHAIN multiplier. ■ Fatigue, and the engineer ladder Deploying and traveling makes you tired. Fatigue only recovers in real time, and going in exhausted means starting from a worse baseline. Knowing when to rest is part of the game. Patching bugs earns experience and promotions: INTERN, ENGINEER, SENIOR, STAFF, PRINCIPAL, DISTINGUISHED, FELLOW — and beyond. The final rank is SINGULARITY at level 85. Restore all 16 nodes and the world is reinfected at a higher severity. It does not end. ■ Compete monthly Register a handle and you appear on the global leaderboard — by experience earned, by best COMBO, and by incidents contained. It resets every month, so a late start is never a lost cause. Registration is optional. ■ Escalations Eight times a day, one site escalates. Containment takes three passes and the site relocates after each one. Each escalation has its own rule for what counts as progress, and the briefing tells you before you commit. ■ Languages The interface is English — it has to read as a terminal. The manual and the daily orders are also available in Japanese. It follows your device language, and you can switch it from the profile screen. ■ Made for - Short sessions with real pressure - Not wanting to look like you are playing a game in public - People who like black terminals ■ Ads and purchases Free to play all the way through. Ads are mostly opt-in — watch one to skip travel time or recover fatigue, only when you choose to. A one-time PRO license removes ads permanently.
