MixBuddy is a personal AI assistant for working DJs. Have it listening while your music plays and it follows along — naming every track, reading its BPM and key, and remembering the transitions that actually worked. Every DJ knows the feeling: you nail a perfect blend between two tracks, the floor goes off, and a few weeks later you can't remember what you played. MixBuddy quietly captures those moments so you never lose them again. WHILE YOU PLAY • Identifies the track that's playing and shows its artwork, BPM, and key • Detects when you mix into the next track and saves the transition automatically • One big tap to save a blend you love — no fiddly controls to hit • Works anywhere: it simply listens to the music playing around you, so there's nothing to set up KNOW WHAT COMES NEXT • Suggestions for what mixes well after the current track — by harmonic key, tempo, and energy • Recommendations grow smarter from the transitions you save • A dedicated Suggestion tab so you're never stuck on the next selection YOUR SETS, REMEMBERED • Every saved transition kept with its tracks, BPM, key, and a short audio clip of the blend • Sets organized automatically, ready to tag with the night, venue, and city • Build a searchable library of your best mixes over time BUILT FOR THE BOOTH • Dark, glanceable interface designed for low-light performance • Huge live controls — nothing precise to hit mid-set • An Apple Watch companion for at-a-glance status on your wrist • MixBuddy uses the built-in mic; for better sound quality add an audio device (iRig or similar) PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Local-first: your mixes live on your device and a set never depends on a connection • Optional sign-in to sync across your devices Matched tracks link out to Apple Music so you can find and add them. Put your phone down, play your set, and let MixBuddy remember the magic.

Pick any track and see what you've already mixed out of it, best first, and how you did each one. Then build your next set from combos you know work. Start with the library you already have. Import your rekordbox collection with BPM and key, and the sets you played in rekordbox or Serato. Each set opens as a practice session: mark the blends that worked, without typing a single track. Mixnote opens on "What's next": search for a track or pick a recent one, and every track you've mixed out of it lines up by how it went. Great first, then Works, then the ones you haven't judged yet, then Retry. Each row shows the technique, the blend length in bars and the mix-out point. Anything you marked Avoid sits apart under "Don't go here". Follow a next track to see what comes after it, two or more steps ahead. When a path holds up, save it as a combo: two to five tracks proven to work in order. Combos are building blocks, not a fixed set, so you're never locked into one order. Got a gig coming up? Put combos in order on a gig sheet, then share the tracklist as an image or export it as text or CSV for your DJ software. The evening before, a reminder tells you what's on the sheet and which hand-over you haven't practised yet. HEAR HOW IT SOUNDED Record a practice or a gig with your iPhone, or through an audio interface plugged into it, and tap Mark at each blend as you play. Afterwards, attach each blend to its transition and play it back from there: how the mix really sounded, a tap away the next time you reach for it. Recordings stay on your iPhone and, with Pro, in your own iCloud. AFTER PRACTICE Save the whole session in one go: the tracks in the order you played them, the blends worth keeping, and how each one went: Great, Works, Retry or Avoid. Pick the days you practise and Mixnote reminds you to log them. Or save a single transition in two taps and add detail later: mix-out and mix-in points, blend length in bars, technique, energy direction, cue references, notes and a rating. Save the ones that didn't work too. "Goes muddy in the breakdown" is worth more than a blank. WHAT'S IN IT • Import from rekordbox and Serato • What's next: the tracks you've mixed out of any track, best first • Combos of 2 to 5 tracks • Practice sessions and played sets, rated blend by blend • Session recordings: mark each blend, hear it on its transition • Gig sheets with tracklist export • Share images for stories and posts, and a combo as a carousel • Gig and practice reminders • BPM and Camelot key on every track • Search and filter by outcome, energy, technique, key or BPM • Track details from Apple Music, or typed in yourself • Export the lot as JSON or CSV • iCloud sync across your iPhones • Available in 15 languages YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR PHONE No account, no sign-in. Your library lives on your iPhone and works offline. With Pro, iCloud sync keeps a copy in your own private iCloud and the same library on every iPhone you use. Turning sync off, or signing out of iCloud, leaves the library on your phone as it is. FREE AND PRO Saving transitions is free, with no limit. So are practice sessions, gig sheets, images, reminders, your first import, your first recording and 2 combos. Pro adds unlimited combos, more imports, session recordings, gig sheet export and iCloud sync. Monthly, or annual with a week free to start, or buy it once and keep it.
