Where is the nearest restroom? Restrooms Map answers that in one glance. Open it and the nearest public restroom is already on the map, with the walking distance at the bottom of the map. Nothing to type, no sign-up, no ads. FREE, ALWAYS • The nearest restroom, with walking distance and time, walking directions, opening hours and ratings • Ask Siri — "Restrooms Map, nearest restroom" is answered out loud without the app ever opening, or start directions right away. Works in Spotlight, Shortcuts and CarPlay too • The accessibility filter — for a wheelchair user that attribute is the whole question, not a convenience, so it is never behind a purchase • Rate restrooms and tell others how they are: dirty, clean, out of order, blocked, lights out or sharp objects • Asked for directions and came back to the app at the restroom? A small prompt may ask whether you want to rate it. Nearness is worked out on your device, with no background location and no notifications, and "Do not ask again" means it • Add a restroom the map is missing, edit it anytime, and optionally suggest it to OpenStreetMap so everyone benefits PRO — ONE PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION • Every restroom on the map, not just the nearest one • A searchable list of what is nearby, favorites and recently viewed, sorted by distance — on screen, or read out when you ask Siri for restrooms nearby • Filters for free, changing table, favorites, unisex, urinal, shower, handwashing and drinking water WHAT MAKES IT ACCURATE • Two sources merged: OpenStreetMap's attribute-rich entries and Apple Maps' coverage, with duplicates removed • Opening hours are read from the map data, so you see whether it is open now. The app never claims a restroom is definitely closed — map data goes stale, and a wasted walk is the worse mistake • Filters tell the truth. "Free" hides only restrooms confirmed to charge; unknowns stay visible instead of emptying your map • Ratings are shared, so you see the average before you walk over • Status reports show what visitors noticed in the last 48 hours, how many and how recently. They are observations, not facts, and never hide a restroom or change a filter • Heart the ones that worked. They stay, show up red on the map and, if you use iCloud, follow you to your other iPhone or iPad PRIVACY Your location is not saved by our server or linked to you: a search sends the server only a position rounded to about 100 meters. No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Ratings and status reports are linked only to a random device ID — not to your name, e-mail or Apple Account — and others see averages and counts, never the ID. My data lists the ratings and status reports this device has sent, and "Delete all my data" erases them. If you use iCloud, favorites travel through your own iCloud, which we cannot see. 25 LANGUAGES Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian. Right-to-left layouts included. Built because the same question came up roughly a thousand times on a family trip across Europe, and every answer involved guessing, queueing, or buying an espresso first.
