About

Patchsynth

Patchsynth is a Eurorack-style modular synthesizer for iPhone and iPad — and a place to actually learn how modular synthesis works, one patch cable at a time. Instead of a fixed synth engine with knobs, you build your own instrument by dragging cables between modules: oscillators into filters, envelopes into amplifiers, LFOs wobbling anything you point them at. If you've ever wanted to understand what a Eurorack rig actually does, this is the fastest way in. LEARN BY PATCHING, NOT BY READING 28 hands-on Lessons cover every module, from your first oscillator to full generative patches — some just explain, others build a real patch step-by-step in front of you as you tap "Next." No prior synthesis knowledge required. TRAIN YOUR EAR 15 Challenges hide a patch and play it for you — your job is to rebuild it by ear, with hints if you get stuck. A genuinely fun way to internalize how filters, envelopes, and modulation actually sound. 21 REAL MODULES Oscillator Ā· Filter Ā· VCA Ā· ADSR Envelope Ā· LFO Ā· Noise Ā· Delay Ā· Reverb Ā· Mixer Ā· Sequencer Ā· Arpeggiator Ā· Clock Ā· Attenuverter Ā· Quantizer Ā· Slew Limiter Ā· Sample & Hold Ā· Logic Ā· Ring Modulator Ā· Sampler Ā· Keyboard Ā· Output (with a live oscilloscope) Record your own sounds with the Sampler, or use the built-in factory drum kit. Quantize any CV to a musical scale. Chain multiple clocks for polyrhythms. It's a real modular rig, just without the cables costing $30 each. 70+ FACTORY PATCHES From simple bass and pad sounds to sprawling, 20+ module "flagship" patches — browse them, load them, take them apart to see how they're wired, then make them your own. PLAY IT WITH REAL GEAR Full MIDI support over Bluetooth or USB — plug in any MIDI keyboard or controller and play your patch's Keyboard module directly, no setup beyond pairing. BUILT FOR TOUCH, NOT PORTED FROM DESKTOP Every interaction — dragging cables, turning knobs, panning and zooming a big patch — is designed for a phone screen from the ground up. A dedicated Patch Bay view even gives you a spreadsheet-style matrix of every connection when patches get complex. Undo and redo everything. Save as many patches as you like. No ads, no in-app purchases, no internet connection required — just synthesis.

About

REVE Model 1

Features

The REVE Model 1 is an ambient drone soundscape machine, built around a synth and echo machine that turns a single note into a slowly evolving world. Play a single note or chord, arpegiatte it, and wait as a simple phrase unfolds into a dark cinematic drone, a meditative texture for sound bathing, or something stranger you didn't plan on. Push the echo repeats toward infinite, and let it rip. Want to hear REVE Model 1 before purchasing? Try the lite version at http://revemodel1.davebokil.com/ FULL ANALOG-STYLE SYNTH ENGINE VCO — Range switch (16', 8', 4', 2'), Tune, Pulse Width, and a Manual/Envelope PWM source switch. Source Mixer — independent levels for Saw, Pulse, Sub, and Noise, plus a switchable sub-oscillator mode (āˆ’1 octave square, āˆ’2 octave square, āˆ’2 octave pulse). Filter — 20Hz–20kHz cutoff and Resonance, Envelope amount, Key Follow, and a dedicated Filter LFO. Envelope + VCA — full ADSR, with a VCA mode switch for Envelope or Gate. LFO — Triangle, Square, Sample & Hold, or Noise waveforms, with Rate, Depth, and a to-pitch routing toggle. Arpeggiator — Off/Up/Down/Up-Down modes, 1–4 octave range, adjustable rate, and Hold (latch). THE ECHO — THE HEART OF THE INSTRUMENT Delay/looping built to be played, not just heard: Repeat (feedback) that goes all the way to infinite sustain, delay time up to 4 seconds, and independent volume control. Push it toward infinite and a phrase stops being a phrase: it becomes a drone, a drift, a texture that keeps changing while your hands are free to reshape it. An output limiter with Threshold, Ceiling, and a gain-reduction meter — keeps things from clipping as the repeats stack up, no matter how far into the red you push it. PLAY IT LIKE AN INSTRUMENT A touch keyboard with real glissando — slide across keys instead of just tapping them — adjustable visible octave range and key span, and a Hold/latch mode so a note can ring on its own while both hands stay on the knobs. A pitch bend lever has independent VCO/VCF sensitivity, and portamento (glide) time is adjustable. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no analytics, no network access, no accounts, no in-app purchases. Everything happens on your phone, nowhere else. COMING SOON MIDI and AUv3 Support
