FlashFeed turns any subject into a feed of short cards you can actually finish. Pick a pack, read the guide, play a game, then prove you learned it. No account needed. No login, no setup. Choose what you want to learn and go straight into the feed. FlashFeed runs on one loop, repeated across every pack: • Pick a knowledge pack: money and investing, artificial intelligence (how it works and how to use it), philosophy and world religions, habits and mindset, national parks and astronomy, sports and history trivia, Latin American Spanish, and hobbies. • Read the study guide: each pack's lessons come with a guide, split into short sections you can read in a couple of minutes. • Play the game modes: more than twenty formats, including Quiz Cards, Flashcards, Memory Flip, Word Search, Word Scramble, Higher or Lower, Type It, Knowledge Wheel and Role Play. • Prove each learning objective: every lesson lists what you should walk away knowing. A short objective test (multiple choice, an 80% pass bar) checks whether you actually do, and checks it off. Pass it again on later days to earn up to three stars. Prefer to listen? Fun with Numbers, Atomic Habits, Stoicism, Money 101 and Burning Man have lesson podcasts: two AI-voiced hosts talk through each lesson in about five to eight minutes. Tap Listen beside a lesson in Study, and keep listening as you move around the app. Some packs also have short lesson videos that play right in your feed. Learning Spanish? Seven Latin American Spanish packs take you from greetings and numbers to everyday verbs, present and past. Tap Listen on a Spanish card to hear the word or phrase, spoken by your phone's own text-to-speech voice. Once a pack is on your device, its cards and study guide stay with you. Keep reading and playing without a connection (pictures you haven't opened yet may need one). A daily streak and an in-app Flash Bucks currency mark your progress along the way, and Flash, our mascot, shows up on your streak and milestone cards. You earn Flash Bucks as you learn. There is nothing to buy and nothing to cash out. No account. No login. No ads. Just pick a pack and start.

Most SHSAT prep starts with drilling. That is the fastest way to waste the time you have, because you cannot study everything at once and you do not yet know what is weak. This app starts with a 24-question diagnostic, about half an hour. It is not a score. It tells you where to begin, and builds a study plan around your test date. BUILT FOR THE TEST AS IT IS NOW The SHSAT is computer-adaptive now, and it runs on screen: 50 questions in ELA and 50 in Math, 180 minutes, one question at a time — you can move around inside a reading passage set until you submit it, and nowhere else — and no calculator. Practice here runs by those same rules — timed, one at a time, no going back, no calculator — with the on-screen tools to work with: highlight a passage, cross out a choice you have ruled out, line numbers to point at. The format itself is a lesson, so nothing on test day is new. And one of the full-length tests adapts. The Adaptive Practice Test picks what to ask next from how the sitting is going, the way the real exam does, and afterwards tells you the difficulty level you were working at in each section. The other full-length tests are linear: the whole paper is drawn before you start and does not change with your answers. Either way every sitting draws a fresh set of questions to the same blueprint, so a test is worth sitting more than once. Drills and the question bank are not adaptive; you pick those yourself. WORKED ANSWERS, NOT ANSWER KEYS Every question shows the method, step by step, and then checks the answer against it. Get one wrong and you find out why, not just which letter you missed. MADE FOR iPad, INCLUDING APPLE PENCIL The SHSAT gives you scrap paper and no calculator, so the working is the whole job. On iPad the question sits beside a scratch pad you can write on with Apple Pencil or a finger, and your working stays next to the worked explanation afterwards so you can compare them line by line. Reading passages open side by side with their questions rather than folded into a drawer. WHAT IS INSIDE - 1,385 practice questions for the Grade 8 test; 1,503 in all, including the Grade 9 material - 87 lessons covering every topic, each with worked examples - 60 full-length reading and revising passage sets - Full practice tests: 100 questions, 3 hours, in the digital format — linear, or the Adaptive Practice Test - A one-page report your child can send you when they want to show how it is going The pass unlocks all of it. What stays free is next. FREE, PERMANENTLY - The 24-question diagnostic and the study plan it builds - Your error journal and your progress, always - 10 new questions a day, up to 150 in total - Unlimited redo of anything you have already answered Your progress is never locked — with or without the pass, and after it expires. THE PASS: ONE PAYMENT, NO AUTO-RENEWAL It lasts 365 days from the day you buy it, it does not renew itself, and you will not be charged again. No subscription to remember to cancel. It unlocks every full practice test, the whole lesson library, and the whole question bank with no daily limit. NO DATA COLLECTED No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing sold to anyone. Your work syncs privately between your own devices through your iCloud account and goes nowhere else. The App Privacy section on this page says "Data Not Collected" because that is literally true. Written for students sitting the SHSAT for Grade 8 or Grade 9 entry.
