Point your camera at a chessboard and find the best move in seconds. Chess Next Move Calculator runs Stockfish — the strongest chess engine in the world — directly on your iPhone. Set up any position, get the best continuation, and understand what you should have played. SCAN A REAL BOARD Playing over the board, reading a chess book, or stuck on a puzzle in a magazine? Photograph the position and the app reads the pieces for you. Fix anything it misread with a tap, and you have a live position ready to analyze — no manual setup. FIND THE BEST MOVE Stockfish evaluates the position and draws the strongest move straight on the board. Adjust how long the engine thinks: a quick read when you just need a check, a deeper search when the position is sharp. Analyze as White or as Black. SET UP ANY POSITION Tap to place pieces on an empty board, or paste a FEN string to load a position instantly. Flip the board, take back a move, or clear and start again. Useful for studying an opening line, working through a tactics puzzle, or replaying the game you just lost. PLAY AGAINST THE ENGINE A full game against Stockfish, with difficulty set by Elo rating — dial it down to a gentle opponent while you are learning, or up to a level that will punish a careless move. Castling, en passant and promotion are all handled. Track your score, your move count and your personal best. WORKS WITHOUT A CONNECTION The engine is built into the app, so analysis and games run with no internet and no data usage — on a plane, on the subway, anywhere. (Board scanning is the one exception: photo recognition runs on our servers.) 49 LANGUAGES Including Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Vietnamese and Indonesian, with full right-to-left support. FREE TO USE Engine moves and take-backs draw on a coin balance that refills on its own, so you are never locked out. Premium removes coins altogether and supports continued development. Whether you are reviewing your own games, solving puzzles, preparing an opening or simply want to know the move you missed — Chess Next Move Calculator gives you an engine-strength answer in seconds. Chessigma reviews your chess games, shows you where the points went, and turns your own mistakes into training. The app has five tabs: Home, Train, Coach, Games and Brain. FREE - Game review: import your games from Chess.com or Lichess by username, or paste a PGN or a game link. Every move is graded, the turning points are marked, and you see the better move and the evaluation graph. The Stockfish engine runs on your phone, so a review needs no account. - Puzzles: a daily puzzle to keep your streak, classic puzzles, and Woodpecker sets that repeat the same positions until the patterns stick. - Opening Trainer: learn opening courses line by line. The first lines of every course are free. - Brain Games: twelve short games with scores and leaderboards. Nine are built on chess, and three need no chess: a reaction time test, Queens and Memory Match. - Sparring: play the first bots on the sparring ladder. - A first look at your coach report, built from your recent online games. - One move explanation from the coach each day when you are signed in. Signing in is free and keeps your streak, puzzle rating, scores and progress on every device. SUPERCOACH Supercoach is the paid plan. It adds: - Coach chat: ask the AI coach about your games, your openings and your habits. - Your full player report in six chapters (Overview, Blunders, Clock, Tactics, Conversion, Openings), with a heatmap of your blind spots. - A daily plan of coached tasks picked from your own games. - Move explanations in every game review, and the option to play on from any position. - Blunder Shield and Blunder Training: drills built from the positions where you blundered. - Conversion Trainer: practice winning the games you were winning. - Every rival on the sparring ladder and every line of every opening course. Coach messages come from a monthly allowance. Coach answers are written by an AI model through a third-party service, and every answer has a Report button.
